My GF has a high school friend who's a girl, let's name her Bella.

Bella and my GF both went to a boarding school together in a remote area and were friends all through out HS

Bella has a brother, let's call him Tom. In HS my GF met Tom (Bella'a brother) through her and he was her first boyfriend and from there they developed a long term two year relationship.

Through out that time my GF finished HS and moved in with Tom and Bella at their family's home with Bella's mom. She lived with the family.

Eventually Bella and my GF split as friends as her and Tom spent more time and were dating.

After a while Tom and my GF split and I met her. They were together for two years.

Well recently my GF has been lacking friends and she got back in touch with Bella. I was wary as I asked her, "what type of friend would split from you for two years then get back in touch?" She assured me it was fine. My GF moved back to the remote town of the boarding school and started working there. Bella happened to go to the town often too. I felt a little uncomfortable with the whole thing but she assured me several times that she would keep the relationship of her and Bella a secret and that Bella's mom or Tom would never know.

I was a bit worried about this slippery slope. Also Tom has this thing where apparently he's always asking about her and where she is.

She wanted me to meet Bella and as uncomfortable as I was with meeting my girlfriend's ex's sister we met a few times. She was cool but again I hated having to meet her and felt the whole thing was weird. We're comfortable with each other now but I still feel it's a bit odd and didn't like the whole thing.

My GF and Bella's mom were close during her previous relationship. Bella's mom was like a second mother to my GF as her mom was away. My GF told me she burned a bridge with Bella's mom and she felt bad about it. She said she wanted to send a letter and apologize. Again, I felt a little uncomfortable with it. I felt this would begin a slippery slope where I'd have to be with my my gf's ex in the same room one day.

A few months later Bella and Bella's mom visited the town and my GF went to Bella's to meet up with her and talk to her mom and catch up and apologize.

So now, basically she's friends with Bella, Bella's mom knows they're back in touch, and so does Tom.

Now, a month later my GF just casually drops that tomorrow she's going to spend the the day with Bella and my GF's family's dog(which she had left at their house years and years ago). She tells me Tom will be at work and she wants to visit her because she misses Bella and really wants some girl time.

She tells me that she will go back home the same day and that I can meet up with her in the town of Bella's house after they hang so me and my gf can grab dinner before she leaves back.

I uncomfortable with the whole thing, not because I don't trust her its just.. I just feel it's inappropriate and just not cool.

I trust her completely...I'm not worried about her lying about her Bella or Tom being at work. She doesn't like her ex and broke up with him, but I just feel uncomfortable. I don't want her to just be hanging out with her ex one day and it being "normalized". I don't feel it's appropriate for me. I hold myself to the same standard.

Besides who knows where things can go? It's a slippery slope.

It's not my cup of tea. Ex's are ex's for a reason.

I don't wanna be controlling or anything but I really don't know what to do about this. Is this appropriate? Is this a "thing?" Am i okay to feel weird about this?

tl;dr: My GF is close friends with a girl(Bella) who happens to be her ex's sister. She wants to go to their house while her ex is at work and hang out with Bella and my GF's old dog. She was in a long term relationship with this guy. I don't feel comfortable with this.

This has happened. /r/relationships said I was being jealous and controlling so I followed their advice and when she sent me a text about it I didn't say anything about it because I was bothered and didn't know what to say, so I held my tongue as much as I possibly could instead of telling her what I thought. And she actually went through with it and went. I just don't know how to handle this sort of issue. Caring makes me it seem like I don't trust her(according to /r/relationships), not caring makes me feel like a fool.
