I am married, but I am interested in MGTOW for my son. I think it is the best option for him. Can't hurt to delay the commitment/marriage thing as much as possible, this is the one true advantage of being male. And guess what, my wife kind of agrees. She kind of admits she gets the best part of the marriage deal and of course does not want the son getting the short stick. If a daughter-in-law shows up, she better be rich and with a good profession.

I'm a mgtow ally. Much like there are straight people who are LGBTAQ (alphabet people) allies, MGTOW should welcome the support and understanding of guys like me. We're your married bro in law or married uncle who has your back at family reunion cookouts. I'm happy in my RPM so I'm not vicariously and superficially jealous, nor am I a BP who thinks you're some weirdo. MGTOW is valid, logical, and fulfilling for many, many men. A woman says "I'm strong and independent, I do not need a man in my life to be happy!" Applause! A man says "I'm strong and independent, I do not need a woman in my life to be happy!" Chorus of jeers and someone shouts incel. MGTOWs have existed throughout history and have contributed a lot to civilization. Monks, inventors, artists, composers, warriors, writers, explorers, travellers, etc. Isaac Newton, Pascal, DaVinci, Beethoven, Voltaire, Kant, Thoreau, Adam Smith, Chopin, Thomas Acquinas, and plenty more. You guys are all right in my book, and subbing r/MGTOW is one way to be supportive and informed.

Since im living in Eastern Europe (which is 20 years behind US) i'm watching how you guys survive in my sons future.

I've been married for 20 years and with her for 26 years. She was 20 and only had one 3 years long LTR. No cheating on her side for 2 years when I met her at college (same social circle). First time I saw her I was stunned.... like the other hundreds of guys in college.

Cheap girl, opposite of a big spender, beautiful and still very slim/healthy af at 46. Educated / rich (much more than I for wealth/daddy), good mother and good parents, excellent cooker and happy to do it, less good on chores though but does it quite OK.

She pushed me for marriage after 7 years while we were living together for 2 (she was already working and I was finishing school) . It was difficult to say no because, honestly, even though pussy was easy for me, quality females were like already non existent in 1999. But I had doubts tbh. You unconsciously feel to be trapped even though you don't know that much about the marriage scam.

BUT she asked for a specific marriage contract to protect HER ASSETS !!! So I told myself go for it. I was so dumb !

So, this kind of profile/opportunity almost no more exist and I would not recommend marriage to any man unless she satisfies the above conditions. But the best is to not getting married.

She almost stopped working a few years ago... (NEVER EVER ACCEPT THAT SHIT) but still makes half I do but pays 50/50 while I don't pay rent for the houses we live in (of which I own only 30% overall).

Sex has been pretty good all along with unlimited access and especially better in the last years.

So why am I here ?

Unpopular opinion but MGTOW, to me, has ZERO to do with avoiding women.

MGTOW is about being a man that embraces his masculinity, has a voice and a backbone and isn't afraid to use them. It's about understanding the true nature of reality and reacting accordingly.

I personally, feel like feminism has fucked up an entire generation and society is struggling to cope. I subscribe to AWALT, I will never marry, but I don't view Women as the enemy. I don't hate them or disparage them as I understand they are the true victims in this new world. They appear to be living it up on the outside, but internally they are fucking miserable, more miserable than they've ever been, because they are indoctrinated into feminism and forced to pretend to be men.

To me, MGTOW is about shaking off that blue pill conditioning, about not succumbing to the pressures of a society hellbent on destroying itself from within.

I have a voice, I will not silence it for your feels. I have desires, I will not curb them for your feels. I have masculine traits, I will not hide them to assuage your fears.

MGTOW men can be married, they can be boyfriends and date, because going your own way is about how you conduct yourself, not who you associate with. Some men enjoy playing with fire, as long as they are educated on the dangers involved so be it.

I'm not exactly full blown MGTOW, i'm more of a person who is aware of the completely out of whack justice system and how society treats men. I browse subreddits like this, of really any type of topic not even this in particular, to expand and challenge my viewpoints. Its not that rare to find some shit hidden in the rough that really makes you think or brings something to your attention you never thought about before.

MGTOW to me isn't a departure per se from women, but I can relate to other aspects of MGTOW, and actually this forms my entire definition of MGTOW.

Most MGTOW are highly critical and increasingly skeptical of "wool over their eyes" tactics found in the world. Every political system and just being generally unhappy with the status quo.

Basically, we feel we got lied to.
