Sometimes men make a mistake by having the mindset that they will get back their kind gestures in a relationship and when they don't, it leads to more passive-aggressive behavior.

Whenever a man puts the needs of a woman ahead of his own needs or even at the expense of himself, most likely there will be problem. This problem keeps happening in relationships because when you keep giving but you are not getting anything in return, it leads to frustration.

I have personally studied things and I saw a pattern emerge.

In most situations whereby a man does all these things for his girlfriend or wife : buys gifts, clothes, calls and sends messages regularly, plans special surprises, and helps with her home and children at his own expense, the woman doesn't reciprocate accordingly. In fact, the man still begs for sex after doing all these.

I am not saying that a man should not do these things for his girlfriend or wife but when he goes out of his way in order to please the woman, he expects the woman to reciprocate. And if she doesn't make him happy, resentment starts to build up, which leads to series of disagreements and fights. In time, this kind of woman will do things that will eventually push the man away.

The advice is just for men to take care of our women according to our capacity without expectations or going out of our way. A man just has to know the boundary of going out of his way.
