I don’t want to hear trash talking from anyone about her.

So after nearly 15 years and two kids my wife wants to officially leave. We separated once and decided to try again a few months back. Where I was faithful she wasn’t and even though I truly have forgiven her for past indiscretions the last few weeks she withdrew. I even went as far as almost cheating. Made a plan and the day before I backed out cause I love her. She questioned me and I came clean and I told her why I almost did it and ultimately didn’t. She knew I hadn’t but as the week went on she talked as if nothing was wrong. I shouldn’t have been surprised when her chose to drop the 6 month lease she signed that day but I was blindsided like when she left the first time. I love her and don’t want her to leave as she is battling some form of depression and is unhappy and has admitted she wants a change. I’m aware of how big a step that is and hope she means it but she wants to do it all by herself. I even suggested she take a few days a week to stay at her place and be back with the kids and I the rest of the time. She seems to be overwhelmed and scared and unhappy. I support her trying to get help but wouldn’t let her leave to find herself and take her back this time which may be wrong but are the kids and I suppose to pretend that a year or two from now she is truly happy so we wait. She isn’t interested in being the full time parent and out agreement that we will use for divorce says as much.

My questions are am I wrong for not giving her the undefined time she needs to get happy. Should I allow her to get happy and sacrifice and allow her more than the weekends we agreed too if we finalize the divorce. Is giving someone a few days off each week a bad idea as the go and find themself.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice
