I have been living separately from my wife for a number of months now, sharing custody of our 2 year old throughout the week, I always thought there was a chance we would reconcile our differences but it would seem that is not to be, today my wife confirmed that she cant us getting back together, and my future came crashing down around me, I had held on to dreams of family holidays, weekends away, new home and new adventures, but now none of that exists.

I am going to be left having to find a new home as the home we live in is my wife's. At 32 years old, I am effectively going to have to start my life all over without the women I have loved for nearly half my life. At a time that my friends are announcing marriages, babies and new houses, my life has stopped and I feel like such a failure. I am going to have to break the news to my parents that our seperation is now official, I am so embarrassed and ashamed.

How do you move forward from this? In years to come how do I find a new partner with complication of already having lived a married life and already having a child, I can't imagine fathering another child with another woman.

I know this is a ramble, but I don't know how to start my life again, I have too for my 2 year old, but I would quite happily just sink into a hole right now. Any advice on starting the journey forward would be appreciated.
