All six winners of the teachers of the country are females. I'm sure they are great teachers but it also make me wonder if the decision was also political

I sincerely think this decision is apolitical. Statistically this is very likely. I would expect the statistical representation to appear say if there were 100 winners. 6 is way too low to quote statistics. Anyone with a reasonable knowledge of data science will agree to this

While I criticize modern feminism for the garbage pile it's become, I will say that one statement they made is very appropriate

'Men and boys win most if not all the prize. It puts women down and are supposed to not tell anything. But if it's all women winning a certain prize, men immediately get butt hurt and start asking for proof and statistics '

Also I checked it seems 3 nominees were male. It might be that these women are qualified more? Why is it that we assume the worst every single time?

okok this is gonna seem like i’m anti-mrm but hear me out. i think women are generally seen as more ‘safe’ and empathetic if that makes sense. especially with elementary school teachers.

i don’t think it’s right, but regardless, the narrative has been instilled into people. and, 76% of teachers are female, which might’ve also added to it. it could also be coincidental, but there might be a political side to it, i understand that POV

That's fine. Most men aren't into teaching. The pannel of winners look very diverse and almost looks like those posters on diversity which is unlikely to be achieved in real world if merit is the absolute measure.

It means it's a politically influenced decision and they overlooked those women who deserved the award but weren't from diverse background. Intersectional feminism will come for women too.
