This article talk about how young men in Korea are becoming intolerant toward the fact that they are discriminated against. But it also says "women bear the burden of childbirth" and that therefore men should shut up because it would be too diffucult to account for all the gendered contribution.

They compare women choosing to have children for their own happiness with men forced into military service in South Korea.

The military service is more than two years, they are paid half of the minimum wage and even if they get ill or hurt during the service they don't have healthcare. Before they had privileges, like preferential hiring for government jobs, but feminists could not accept it and get ride of all privileges given to male conscripts for the sake of equality according to feminists : men being slave for women.

Feminists will tell you that it is normal that men don't get any privileges for being conscripted, because "it wil unnecessarly add misery to women while conscription add misery to men because it is necessary".

When discussing with feminists, even when presented with the fact that men had the right to vote because of forced conscription, they still will tell you that it wasn't a reason to not give equal right to vote to women. They are in a world where men should suck it up and don't complain even if women get the same rights without the same duties. They think men should be happy for women not having to go through it and don't try to get advantages from it.

A little bonus : BBC talking about military service in South Korea as a class issue and not gender issue. They talk about how the minority of rich men can escape or get a easier service instead of how 100% of women escape it for the sake of having a vagina. This is also a common view in South Korea's focusing on rich men instead of 100% of women. For example these days, the famous K-pop group, "BTS", was the center of the attention for trying to dodge the military service.
