Women think because the psychopaths in power appear to be mostly male that this somehow benefits all males. So they collectively blame males and masculinity for their problems.

The issue I have with that is most of the time more women vote than men, so they're basically the cause of their problems.

The feminists theory of "the patriarchy" is very similar to what Nazis did to convince people to hate all jews, they said that Jews were in control of the world. Feminism is quite literally using the same strategy as Nazi's in order to make life harder for all men.

Tbh I feel like polarizing these things as binary is the dumbest reasoning. "It's real and pervades everything" vs "it doesn't exist at all". No wonder we can't agree.

The real world is more nuanced than that. Patriarchy certainly exists ... in pockets of context. There are facets of the world that are certainly male dominated and controlled. Certain industries, for example. I think, historically, certain political corners (although this has improved SO much and isn't as true anymore, but it still has a way to go). The same can be said for Matriarchy (I'm a divorced dad and holy crap I have zero societal power when it comes to my kids)

I don't believe in some ridiculous world controlling Patriarchy, that's obviously bullshit. But we shouldn't turn a blind eye to the possibility that certain aspects of society need to be modernized to be more progressive and fair to both genders. It's possible for a given business, sector, or facet of society to be patriarchal without surrendering our position that there is no Patriarchy-wirh-a-capital-P.

Problems can still exist and need attention without it being an absolute.

You also don't have to accept their logic for patriarchy. I mean, we obviously live in a matriarchy since nearly every child in history was raised and therefore conditioned by women.

Why men even grew up and were so conditioned to be the work horse for women that we've voluntarily taken riskier and more laborious jobs for centuries so women could take it easy at home.
