So I’m 17f from the UK. I’ve just started my A-levels and I am expected to also do an EPQ along side my chosen subjects. If you don’t know what an EPQ is, it’s essentially a 5000 worded essay I’m expected to write on a topic of my choice.

I’m currently deciding what topic to do. I’m really interested in politics so my EPQ will be politically themed. Over the last few years I’ve kept an eye on feminism and MRAs- I think there are some really interesting conversations to be had.

Two of the titles I’m considering are “does modern feminism really want equality?” and “are men disadvantaged in modern society?”. Now I believe that 3rd/4th wave feminism absolutely doesn’t want equality and that women are no where near oppressed but rather advantaged in many aspects.

I’m expected to research my chosen topic thoroughly and so I thought I’d put it to you guys on some of things that would be useful to include. The more research and material I can get my hands on, the better!

So if anyone has any convincing arguments, point, tips, evidence etc, let me know! It would be great to gain a better understanding of the issues men are facing and the obstacles preventing them from succeeding. :)
