What is one thing you really appreciate about your SO?

My hubs works by a florist, and sometimes they leave rejected orders in a trash bin (not like a dumpster where they're covered in old banana peels or anything like that), and if he sees a bouquet that still looks fresh and pretty he will bring it home to me. I appreciate it because I really wouldn't want him to spend money on that sort of thing, but he's showing he cares about me by looking for it when he passes by.

He also builds me things all the time. When we first started dating his first gift to me was a coffee table he designed and built for me! It's a really unique design and he let me choose some of the details. I collect elephants and am obsessed with them, and it has elephants on it :). I told him I wanted a better storage system for my shoes just offhandedly, not expecting him to do anything about it, and a few hours later he had put together a shoe shelf thing for me. I knit and crochet and have a MASSIVE yarn collection, so he designed a customized shelf for me. When we first moved in together we bought a trailer. He gutted the entire kitchen and built me a new one based on what I wanted. Everything he builds is really unique and I could never just go buy any of it at the store. He gets really creative with his designs and knows the aesthetic I like so everything he makes me is just wonderful. I feel sooooooo lucky I found a man who enjoys that hobby :)

It's strange, but after I told my husband that I would do anything that he wants; I'm his and will do whatever he tells me to do, he had me start checking in with him whenever I was away from him. At first it was a pain, but then I realized that he worried about me. He could relax once he knew I was safely at work (a fortress LOL) and then after work we are together.

He says he likes to have me in his "bubble of protection" and that makes me feel all warm, fuzzy, and loved :)

Oh yeah, he also started swatting my butt when I pass by him and that has the same effect! It's hilarious :)

He provides simple, obvious solutions and pieces of advice that blow my mind. He is the waffles to my spaghetti. I have a bad habit of overthinking and stressing out over details and then end up like a confused mass of spaghetti. I ask SO for advice and he's like "Do this" and I'm like "Of course! Why didn't I think of that!?" facepalm

Mr Strom is the quintessential boy scout. There isn't anything he isn't prepared for. If he can't fix it or find a video on how to fix it, it probably wasn't worth fixing. I know there is no problem too big for him. He's my rock.

And he steals flowers for me. Not often, but once in a while, he'll see some flowers that he thinks I'll like in a business's landscaping and steal them.

There's the fact that every time we go out somewhere, he always insists on holding my hand and letting me give him little kisses, even if it's just to the store. He's also very affectionate while we're at his parents with plenty of kisses and a frequency to use me as a soft spot to lean against/lay his head on. It's all very sweet. :3 He definitely shows affection through touch.

if he is visiting his extended family and has no internet access he will drive to a bigger city nearby so he can skype me from starbucks. it's not a long drive at all but still a very thoughtful gesture. (this is pretty rare so it doesn't seem 'beta', just romantic)
he gave me a handwritten love letter for our 3rd year anniversary along with the actual gifts he got me. he tells a lot of people about being really happy in our relationship and wanting to marry me. :D

Mine is very thoughtful. Just recently he surprised me with a fancy bottle of bubble bath from his trip in Paris (he knows I love bubble baths). He sometimes join me in bubble baths too and we would have wine sometimes and then some really good sexy times after.

We have been struggling with supporting my choice to attend makeup artistry school financially. Today, he surprised me by canceling his pay by month game accounts and redid our whole budget to enroll me. :) He is truly the best man in the whole world. My first paycheck will go toward reinstating his games and buying him even more. :)

My husband works and I stay home with our son. He is always kept busy with work, errands and helping others, so he is always sore. Considering that, it always blows me away when he offers me a massage or comes up and just starts rubbing my shoulders, when he clearly needs it more than I do! I also love how when we are out somewhere, he insists I hold his hand or hold onto his arm and jokingly says it's because he doesn't want me to get lost. It's adorable. He likes a ton of physical contact.

Just like Bakerofpie, he is building me my own kitchen. We bought his mom's house and it has a bunch of issues and needs to be remodeled and he is basing most of his decisions on me. The kitchen in particular I mention, as I have free reign on design as I will be the main one utilizing it. He is going out of his way to figure out designs and ideas for everything to make it more efficient and practical for me to use. He has already built my pantry which I LOVE and has started on the cabinets for the sink section. He is pretty much doing everything in the house the way I suggest. He can do things however he wants, yet he comes to me for my opinion and always goes with it. I don't expect or ask to have all the say and yet he gives it to me. I absolutely adore him. I am very spoiled, but not because I ask or demand it, he just does everything for me out of sheer love and desire, so really, EVERYTHING he does makes me feel loved. <3

I told my bf how I have thick hair and it's annoying sleeping with wet hair. I mentioned how he should get a blow dryer for his apartment. He messaged me one day and he told me he got one. I was so happy and a bit speechless because with my ex, I mentioned it couple of times and he never got one. The one time he did get a blow dryer, it was for his friend who needed one so he got one for her for Christmas. I remember seeing the blow dryer and I thought it was for me and I was really upset when it wasn't. My bf getting a blow dryer just really made such an impression on me. Plus he uses it now too- I start giggling when I see him so focused on styling and drying his hair :]

He tells me he loves me and compliments me at any random point: when I'm sitting on his lap as he plays games, when we're cuddling together, when I'm halfway across the room, at any point :)

He goes out of his way to make me feel cherished and loved and I adore him for it :)
