“Posting isn't gonna help sexism!” - bruh why the fuck are you even on that subreddit when the goal of the sub is posting blatant sexism.

”That's very rare and it's only a little bit sexist.” - majority of homeless people are men and this shelter, originally designed for men, got backlash for being men-only leading it to become women-only. That is very sexist.

“Ugh, this sub is crawling with MRAs and MRAs oppose women. Equality is the answer.” - wtf was that. MRAs don't oppose women.

“Women need shelters more than men anyway.” - Men need it more as there are more men homeless. I'm not saying we should close women's shelters but we definitely should do something about the lack of men's shelters.

1 post only and I find all these comments. The other comments which aren't sexist are almost all downvoted. I will avoid this subreddit as it seems the members of it are blatantly sexist against men. Looks like they're living up to their name by supporting blatant sexism.

You literally care more about slagging off MRAs than actual "oppression" against men, as demonstrated by this comment.

Also, most MRAs (and egalitarians) will cheerfully say men and women and society in general are sexist against men. Unlike feminists, who regularly gender women's issues as things men do, or things women "internalize" from men. Same thing even when supposedly talking about men's issues.

You know why I’m actually ok with this? First, because I’m tired of banging my head against a wall looking to society to actually be rational when looking at gender issues. Second, because of the complete unwillingness to take men’s considerations into account at all, pretty soon marriage will be “women only” - and I’m totally fine with that. All men are horrible and don’t deserve their “queen”? Fine. I’m a HVM - leave me the fuck alone for the rest of my life.

Could be that it had more men because men make up 80% of the homeless pop. While also homeless men are more likely to have jobs, be denied aid and housing, and treated as if they don’t matter.
