I like to sometimes play a game where I ponder 'How is THIS particular broken, disgusting element of society most directly the fault of the patriarchy'

For example, here's what I came up with most recently:"How is racism most directly the fault of the patriarchy?"

(Possible) Answer: Men wanted domination over women. As many women as possible. They succeeded! In heavy droves they succeeded in literally beating women into disenfranchised property. But, once they developed a taste for 'owning people' in the form of men owning women, well why stop there? Let's own other men too! And we'll justify it by creating, out of nothing, a random but also somewhat plausible excuse on why we're superior to them, and they also deserve to be whipped, broken and enslaved like our women.

My latest little game of a question is "How is the debacle that is the War on Drugs most directly the fault of the patriarchy?"

I'd love to hear from people in the comments about your thoughts on my latest question to myself? XD

And please remember that it's just for fun. I'm not writing a paper. I don't really 'need' academic references and such. If you have academic references, I'll be happy to read them too. But mostly please, all queens out there, just give me your deliciously hilarious replies XD XD XD

Edited note: I'm not trivializing the issue of racism. I've faced racism myself, and I know how small, helpless and worthless it can make a person feel. It is actually my fervent hope, wish and dream that all that is standing between us and a utopian society is just this ONE issue of The Patriarchy, and once we solve this ONE SINGLE ISSUE, then everything else will become almost magically resolved too. I know that it's probably not quite that simple. But dammit, sometimes I just want to DREAM A LITTLE BIT! This world really sucks sometimes, and sometimes I just want to imagine what utopia might maybe look like, you know?
