Yes, I know it's January, we just enjoyed our holidays, and we can finally go back to shopping without having to hear Mariah Carey sing about all she wants for Christmas every ten minutes.

However, this past Christmas was a hot mess. I was disorganized. We forgot to buy anything for my SIL, and the gift we got for her son was ordered so late that we won't get it in the mail until Monday. We spent this Christmas with my in-laws who live 4 hours away, and we ended up buying my parents' gift on the drive back home (on the plus side, everything was on clearance by then).

I usually start buying Christmas gifts in May. I start so early because there are like 10 birthdays (including my daughter's, which requires a party on top of gifts) from August - November, so our gift budget is wiped out by December. This past year, however, we happened to have some serious financial problems during June, which started a sort of domino effect that ended with a struggle to afford Christmas gifts.

To avoid this happening again in the event of another financial hiccup mid-year, I want to start planning NOW, in January.

TL;DR

I need to find an easy way to organize gift ideas and plan for holidays and birthdays.

I want to start by listing all the people I want to give gifts to in order of importance, then list a few different gift ideas for each person. I don't want this in a binder on paper because I'd like to be able to link specific gifts I find on Amazon, Fab, Etsy, etc., and I'd like to include pictures of the gifts.

Do you know of any websites that help you plan & organize your gift giving in this sort of way? I thought about Pinterest, but I don't want to make a board for every single person I plan to give to. What do you guys do to plan your gift giving?
