If they think that the only qualifications for becoming president should be that they have vaginas none of these female candidates should be president. By the way, we've had two female prime ministers here in the UK and both of them you could argue have been some of the most hated leaders in the country in history.

I actually saw on the comments pages of the independent and so on when she finally announced her resignation and the whole drama started with her constantly delaying Brexit people who were clearly very left wing were saying she was worse than Margaret Thatcher. To understand how bad that is from the left winger viewpoint they regard Margaret Thatcher as satan especially in hard left circles, she's their favourite person to hate usually, so what does it tell you about how badly Theresa May fucked things up that they think she's worse?

Just because you put a woman in power doesn't mean everything will fix itself, this is just something that feminists do in order to shame and attack men who vote differently from them. By the way, I really don't like the left, but does anyone remember what they did to Bernie Sanders supporters when they didn't like that so many were voting for him as oppose to Clinton? They called them 'Bernie Bros' and made it out that the only reason women were voting for Bernie was because of the guys that were.

Obviously it's all sexist as fuck on the surface but these women clearly have a resentment of men that runs much deeper than that and it's worth exploring the background of why they think this way. Much like how when you look at what a lot of feminists are like generally they're really just femcels who can't get long term boyfriends so they throw temper tantrums and take it out on men.

I'm sorry, I don't remember the last time I saw a single woman on the crews repairing power to half of Maine in the middle of winter at night. Until I see even one woman working in those conditions, I'm not buying this crap.

When she says "Any working woman out there, or any woman at home knows exactly what I mean: We have to work harder, and that's a fact."

It sounds like she is acknowledging that women have not been working very hard, and they need to work harder. That seems a bit harsh and overly critical of ALL women, in my opinion. I have known SOME women who DO work hard. But sure, many women should work harder. I appreciate that this senator is pointing that out.

Anyone who supported men's rights shouldn't vote Democrat unless they dramatically shift away from identity politics, but that doesn't seem likely to happen anytime soon. In fact they continue getting worse and worse in this regard.

I'm not saying you have to vote for a Republican, just don't vote Democrat.

She didn't say that women work harder than men. She said that women have to work harder than men to achieve the same thing, basically saying there are biases and glass ceilings working against women.

Now in many workplaces, there's actually affirmative action and female-only programs helping women, so it's not true, but I think in Amy's case, it's actually true. She is talking about how women in politics have to work harder to overcome the bias that women shouldn't be national leaders or commander-in-chief. There are lots of polls which have shown a lot of voters are uncomfortable with the idea of a female president.

Based on her experience, she's 100% more qualified that Pete Buttegieg, which is what the question was about.

Also, we should have all-women shortlists to make sure women don't have to work harder.

She is saying that if women want to compete successfully with men, they will, in general have to work harder than those men.

That may be true, at this particular level, they are competing not with average men - or even the below average men, but very successful men.

The question is, really, can women work that much harder at it - or is this an unrealistic goal?

In this case the is not shooting at the goal, but making a noisy appeal for a penalty.
