How many times does it have to be stated that one's perceived risk does not necessarily equal their actual risk? Women are higher in risk aversion and apprehension than men are, just because they feel more unsafe does not mean they actually are.

Ooh haha that gave me a hearty chuckle.

i) If going into a situation required such drastic measures for protection, then it is rather foolish to choose to put oneself in that situation.

ii) Given the probability of going on a date and never been seen again is quite amazingly small, anyone taking such actions is clearly not living in the real world, and should be locked up for their own protection.

iii) The fact that women also murder men negates the argument about men being so dangerous.

iv) If you really believe the risk from men is so high, then why take that risk? I know if I put my hand in a lions mouth, it will probably be bitten off and i'll probably be eaten as well. Hence, I don't deliberately put myself in such a high risk situation.

I dislike stating that it is easy to get banned from /r/feminism.

The one thing you cannot do is bring up facts that are not in line with the blame idealism that the followers seem to love basking in.

I have noticed that feminism seems to be more like a male hate group than one that looks for solutions that involve working together.

Turning the meaning of "feminism" into one that is opposite of the word "misogyny".

I recently got involved in a conversation about domestic violence with a feminist. On a fictional created feminist post about male domestic violence.

It turns out that men are getting violently killed by females more often now.

Not to mention that violent domestic attacks from females are now as much as men and in some situations more. I am astonished with this new data.

Women are getting more violent and less understanding towards men and the data is starting to reflect this.

This could be the result of victimization tactics that work so well. Over time and constant reminders by the media, women will believe the lie.

Either way the conversation always goes in about the same direction. Denial, blame then outright attacks on my character.

This was no different. Even with scientific papers proving that women are attacking first in domestic relationships. Even when the data shows that in half of failed marriages, 85 percent are initiated by the female. 40 percent of deaths in violent domestic disputes are men.

Should the smaller number of women who kill men in domestic disputes get a pass? On this victimization idealism? Hell no. Women are killing men as well in domestic disputes. This should be examined as well as the men who kill in the same situation.

So possible solutions can arise.

Either way it would seem that using science against feelings is not allowed.

Case in point: ever try arguing with a professional victim? It is almost impossible to get a point across. You will be made out as the one who abuses. Every single time the "victim" does not like your stance, you will be forced to jump through hoops in order for any real conversation can commence. They however don't have to prove anything, for they are the innocent and you are the guilty.

Such is the way things are now.

This kind of thing only creates division with no end in sight. We should be working together for a better future. No creating and maintaining blame idealism towards one gender.

This is my rant for today. Cheers!

If I were to go on a date with a woman for the first time I also let someone know where I am etc. It's common sense.
