False Allegations and Corrupt Judicial System to convict Innocent men or just destroy their lives without recourse. Canada and Spain being among the worst.
Preferential treatment of women criminals against male victims and children. Women can literally cripple you or kill you and get zero jail time.
Lynching of men without evidence (Believe all Wahmen)
Education system that neglects boys
Quota system that harms men and get men fired

You can go on and on, from health, to taxing to portrayal in the media. The list is long.

I’m in america

Men make up the majority of the homeless population and there are less recourses for them in times of crisis.

Most hate crimes based on sexual orientation are against gay men.

Society's indifference to prison rape culture.

Men are more likely to be arrested, charged and convicted of a crime and serve longer sentences on average.

Men have no legal reproductive rights.

Men have the cards stacked against them in regards to custody. Particularly children born out of wedlock.

Rape laws pretty much exclude male victims.

Only men are required to sign up for the draft.

Men are much more likely to be victims of police violence.

There is a social stigma against men interacting with children.

Much stigma against acknowledging male victims in regards to domestic violence.

Sexism against men is socially acceptable

Men who show weakness and vulnerability often face ridicule

Boys are doing worse than girls all across the education system.

Guys are ostracized for wearing makeup and women's clothing but the opposite isn't true.

Stay at home dads are looked down on.

Men are expected to be the bread winner.

It depends on what you're specifically thinking about in regards to discrimination and prejudice etc. are you talking about family courts for example or the way people treat male rape victims? We're not like feminists you see who talk vaguely about persecution and discrimination and tell you to just trust our word for it we actually prove it.

While there are some laws or customs that advantage women over men, i dont think it is the main issue.

Some trades like education or medical fields are mostly made of women. Meanwhile there is a push to have at last half of other industries to be composed of women.

That will result in a structural unemployement for men.

I think that you do experience discrimination, but it has become so normalized that you don't recognize it. Here in Canada there is discrimination against men & White people in all government hiring. I was told not to bother to show up for a gov hiring interview. I believe that it was because I am male & white skinned. The best paid jobs here are in government especially considering the super generous benefits, but I have never landed a gov job due to discrimination against me.

Child custody. Hands down the #1 thing that the courts get wrong. The presumption that women are superior parents is just wrong. On very minor fronts, women get out of traffic violations at a higher rate.

Domestic violence against men continues to be a thing that men get NO help from - often from their own quarter, so to speak. Men who report domestic violence are shamed by other men as being weak. There are few shelters for male domestic violence. This is a sad fact of history. Female survivors of domestic violence set out to provide these kinds of service within charitable organizations. There has been no such activism on the part of male survivors or their allies. Many domestic violence organizations have changed their names from battered women's shelter in order to become more welcoming to men. Men still do not take much advantage of these service.

The child support issue is sticky. In incident of straight up failure to pay, hiding assets and the like, becoming intentionally under-employed, is so alarmingly high that some men who have genuine problems paying get wages garnered and such. There is a perception that men can be jailed for failure to pay child support. This is alarmingly unclear as to its use. From what I can find, recognizing that a person cannot pay their child support while in jail, states have programs to aid in re-establishing solvency. But historically, there needed to be some teeth in the form of civil contempt charges to prompt actual compliance with the court order.

Many MRA men think divorce asset allocation takes away "their" money. This is pretty silly. The concept of civil marriage in the US has long been about stable family environments. (That it is a useless motivator is beside the point.) When families - as lead by a husband and a wife - make choices about the family, who earns the income is but one of the components. The idea that one spouse can walk away calling the assets "theirs" is absurd. States, like mine, determine alimony purely by the numbers, male or female. There are still some "family value" states that make it very hard for a man to get an equitable divorce. Yet, somehow, the politicians in these states are consistently elected counter to the populations own interest in this and other issues.

There is a very popular conception that false rape allegations are as systemic as rape, and its non-prosecution, is. In the court of public opinion, rape is still, and alarmingly increasingly, considered a not very important thing. It's just sex. (Well of course it isn't.) What is the dorky guy to do to get sex? I mean women are so demanding. How else would I get sex? I would say that false rape reports would be prosecuted. I don't because such a massive overhaul of our criminal "justice" system would be required to align the prosecution of all false reports of any crime in a meaningful way. False reports leading to criminal prosecution and fabrication of evidence should have the book thrown at them. It would be helpful for MRA peeps. But it would be much more helpful to the cause of rape prosecution. Win-win.

There is a perception that a woman's ability to choose - or not choose - an abortion is not fair. While she is responsible for birth control, carrying the baby and raising the baby if she so chooses, he grouses that he will have to pay child support for a baby that he did not want. Condoms have always been and continue to be rejected by men as a means of taking control of their reproduction from the outset. They don't feel as good. Studies and trials of male birth control have fallen flat as men reject the side effect. (Funny, if you think about that one for a half a second.)

There is a perception that breast cancer awareness is vastly higher than that of men's health issues. This is also not true. The vast amount of research and development of medicines, therapies and treatments are

There is this very big perception in MRA circles that access to sex should be "fair" somehow. That, despite supposedly being human beings with choices of their own, they should have access to sex with women. That's just weird.

India. Where the duties are rewarded to men, and the rights are imposed on the women. Otherwise we're the equalest country in this solar system. But good for you, for being in Finland, and enjoying gender equality.

My only issue with men’s rights is the ridiculousness of parental rights, child custody and divorce.

Divorce should just be a 50/50 split of everything, end of, no fault by anyone needed.

Child custody the same, 50/50 split (after 1 year old, due to breastfeeding) and the child should be required to stay in the city/town they’re normally a resident of unless BOTH parents agree to moving. If your job requires you to move, tough luck for whichever parent that is, find a new job or move alone. If either parent kidnaps the child, jail them for child abduction.

Parents rights, exactly the same for both parents, Mum doesn’t get final say.

I don't know about Finland but in the US and Canada there are men's rights organizations like National Coalition for Men and Canadian Association for Equality. You can also do things like volunteer at homeless shelters or donate to men's causes. And raise awareness of men's issues, most people still don't know about men's issues and just dismiss MRAs because they think men are privileged.

How is child custody after divorce handled there? Here the courts typically assign the custody of the child exclusively or majorly to one parent, which is usually the mother, unless the mother is demonstrably a bad parent (and sometimes even then). When it's not the mother, sole or majorly custody is assigned to the father.

What were working towards is getting courts to favor equal custody as often as it applies.

Does Finland favor shared equal custody?

I've seen this many times with finnish men. You're somehow in denial when it comes to what military service is to you. You spew this egalitarian stuff and then turn around and make up excuses for your own discrimination.

As a guy from Finland. I dont really experience situation where women or men are treated badly due to gender!

I mean...self-reflective skills and memory = 0?
