None of us born in the last 50 years got the memo either. We got the one that said "All men are rapists" and "Masculinity is toxic." I also got the one that said, "Women want a Nice Guy to settle down with." But, no one gave me the one that said, "Women want to party with the fun, irresponsible, exciting, bad-boy."

See, the thing is, we are not animals looking to just, sniff, fuck and run, raise our kids in a cave. We no longer live by the survival of the fittest, but in a civilized, mostly human environment were we can circumvent many id like genetic impulses.

There are, and always will be differences in men and women, but genetic construction is not equatable to instinctive action or reaction.

The memo I got was hide my emotions, my feelings don’t matter because they make me weak, no matter what a women does to you she cannot be touched, and that just being a man makes me a bad person.

Well, biologically speaking that's not wrong. Females are the gateholders to procreation ( due to how expensive it is for the female ), and as such it's up to the male to pursue the right to mate, at least in our species. You see this pattern repeated throughout the animal kingdom. It's the method used to produce stronger offspring.

Speaking generically of course, as there will always be exceptions.

Well, men are "born to do" a lot of things. But we don't do them because of the society and the respect for law. That being the case, why should men do what's "natural for a man" when it's either unincentivised or actively penalised?

I mean the text isn't wrong, it's basic human instincts. Same as when birds do dances to attract mates, men do things to attract women. It's in our genetic code to want a mate and need sex, it's a part of male psychology that that sex helps release tension and stress, and there's no shame in that. I think the point of it is that women shouldn't go for a man playing hard to get the same as a man shouldn't go for a woman playing hard to get.
