r/Foregen is a sub you can check out if you’re interested. It’s not currently possible to regenerate the foreskin with the frenulum, nerves, and everything else, but that company intends to rectify that problem with adult stem cell research and regenerative medicine.

It's true. Circumcision ablates the most sensitive parts of the penis. The circumcision scar is the most sensitive part of the circumcised penis. All the parts taken during circumcision are more sensitive than the most sensitive part of the circumcised penis. The glans of the circumcised penis are also less sensitive. Manual restoration will give you back a functional foreskin, but it won't give you back the rigid band, mucosal tissue, frenulum, or nerves. The good people at r/Foregen are researching stem cell based regenerative medicine to regenerate foreskin in men. They're currently preparing for animal trials. In conjunction with animal trials, they will conduct a histiological study of the foreskin to acquire a more in depth understanding of the foreskin's unique structures After animal trials, they will do human clinical trials. They're a non profit and are funded by donations.

Well... That debate rages but I would guess guys who aren't circumcised feel more during sex. I'm not circumcised. I know my johnson is way too sensitive for me to walk around for any amount of time with the skin back and the head exposed in my pants...and obviously you guys do that all day every day without a thought. But yes restoring your foreskin is a thing. Ive never known personally a guy whos done it but the process intrigues me. There are a number of methods...it involves applying tension to the shaft skin so that over time it stretches over the head. You won't replace lost nerves, but the remaining ones become much more sensitive. Its a long process but from all the testamonials I've read the guys who go the distance are very happy with the results!

I don't think it would be exactly the same: a lot of the sensitivity comes from the fact that the glans is usually protected, so that when it's exposed it's a much stronger feeling. I think your glans would already be pretty desensitized and it would take a while for it to get used to the protection and become more sensitive again, and you probably would never get quite as much sensitivity back. I don't think a resensitized penis would feel exactly the same as one that was never desensitized. But it would be better than without a foreskin at all, at the very least.

Circumcision destroys a man's ability to feel pleasure. You can get about half of it back through restoration.

Yes it’s true but you also have to realize the foreskin isn’t just extra skin, it’s an entire part of your penis and provides a mechanism for smooth gliding.

i know a man who got circumcised as an adult and then restored his foreskin after realizing what a colossal mistake it was.

he said that if sex before circumcision was a 10/10, sex after circumcision was a 3/10 and after restoration was a 7/10.

An uncircumcised penis is on par with lips, fingers and toes. The touch receptors are pretty insane. You won't get that back. But it does help in other ways. For me, I feel dryness, itchiness and pain. Restoring doesn't fix everything, but it makes you more normal.

You would get about 80 percent of lost sensation.
