Ok so I'm a freshman in college in a city that doesn't really have a student campus so we're scattered all around, which leads to a conclusion that apart from classes and joining clubs/workshops, there isn't as much opportunity for meeting girls as, say, American colleges with dorms, fraternities, etc.

Therefore the culture among students is going out to night clubs, they're pretty full on any day of the week other than Sunday and Monday. I have friends that have no problems going out three times a week and coming home with a chick on two of those nights. I have friends that go out the same amount of time and never even make out, let alone anything else.

In my observation, the guys I mentioned first are the visually attractive ones. Height plays no role. Neither does muscle. It's basically 70% facial attractiveness, 20% clothing. The rest is not having autism. For them, it's basically just being there, waiting for chicks to eyefuck you, and then not messing up. I've seen guys point at random chicks, signaling to come over and - deal done.

Then you have other guys, unfortunately, myself included. We cannot get as much as 1 second of eye contact from a chick. Approaching one is met with disgust, or her running away. All of this leads me to believe, despite of what PUA community is saying, night clubs (for college guys) are basically the Tinder of real life. Either you look good or you don't exist.

So here I am, bitching. Go, lift, you'll say. I'm way more ripped than all of the guys I mentioned previously. Even at the height of bulk, where I am currently, I doubt my bodyfat is over 15-16%. I like talking to people and people often seem to respond well. So social skills are at least decent.

QUESTION: Should I just cut my losses? Avoid night clubs altogether? Play my strengths, and get a good night's sleep when friends are out partying?

For context, I have never had the experience of being told a girl likes me or having girls glancing over repeatedly or stuff like that (that happens to some guys) before meeting her, talking to her, making her laugh and showing my personality a bit.
