Singapore is an example of a country with a major need for MR.

Singapore practices male only conscription, where all male citizens are forced into military training for two years.

Singapore also practices caning on criminals, where certain criminal offenders are beaten with a wooden cane. However, caning is reserved only for men.

I always wonder, how do men think and talk about these things in countries where they happen? /u/necrohexr, do men ever talk to themselves about how it's obviously discrimination? Is there an awareness of the MRM in Singapore?

This change to the law only counts a man forcing another man to have anal or oral sex as rape. Female perpetrated rape will be classed as sexual assault.

The maximum sentence for voyeuristic acts could range from two to five years' imprisonment, including possible caning or a fine.

Another new proposed offence targets the act of flashing and will be parked under the specific offence of sexual exposure, where the offender exposes himself to gain sexual gratification, or causes distress or alarm to observers.

Looks like some parts are not sex neutral. And how does a man deceive a woman that he is her husband anyway?

It has been proposed that the definition of rape be expanded to include non-consensual penetration of the anus or the mouth using one's penis.

Only by men though, so the minority of male victims.

Hopefully it passes through. I remember 10 years ago when I was living in Israel a similar bill was proposed in parliament, and then died after a feminist campaign opposing it. The argument was that men would make too many false accusations of rape.
