I would much prefer to split the cost of the first date. That ensures both parties can walk away without feeling obligated.

Also, I ask if a woman has a boyfriend so that I don't have to spend money on her if there is no chance of a second date (due to said boyfriend, for example).

I am not a meal ticket for a cheating thot and I am not interested in being treated that way.

If a woman has nothing to offer me other than her body, that relationship will not progress past the first date.

The further down the path we go of social anarchy, the more clearly I understand why every single successful society actively promoted marriage and family.

We tend to think that's just the way things end up naturally, when in reality it's survivorship bias at play. All the societies that behaved the way ours is beginning to were wiped out by the far more stable ones that pinned immense importance on long-term partnership - not for looooove, but out of economic & social necessity.

Right now we're seeing a return to jungle law where a small elite maintain sexual primacy while everyone else is left out. That's unsustainable, no matter how many twitter posts argue for "LOL JUST BE YOUR BEST HAPPY SELF LOLOOLOLOLOL"

An increasing number of men are turning to porn and celibacy while an increasing number of women are turning to cats and feminism.
