There seems to be this idea that women are pretty much all pro-choice, and it's just the evil (rich/white/right wing) men who are trying to control their bodies. (Even though there is no political movement I'm aware of to discourage women from getting breast implants, IUDs, tattoos, dye their hair, etc, etc, etc, the only time people want to control womens' bodies is when there might well be a baby inside of it.)

In truth, polls indicate that opinions on abortion are pretty much 50/50 for both genders, and there are quite a few left wingers who are pro-life and there are quite a few right wingers who are pro choice. Not to mention, once you start to get into the specifics of when abortion ought to have more restrictions, many have a slightly different opinion.

I'm not even pro life.

While CBS was conceding that Brett Kavanaugh will probably make it onto the Supreme Court, ABC’s Terry Moran on Thursday fumed about how “millions of women” will feel “annihilated” if the Judge is confirmed. He also warned Kavanaugh not to rule against abortion or the high Court will lose “legitimacy.”

How do you "feel annihilated”? Is that like how trans-people feel like they are trapped in the wrong body, except that you're dead?

Regarding the legitimacy of the court, I'm pretty sure it lost that in roe-vs-wade, where they invented privacy rights in the penumbra of the Constitution that the NSA and the rest of the federal, state and local governments never heard of so that a women who lied about being raped could get an abortion.
