Saying men are frightened is innacurate.

As George RR Martin said, "The only time a man can be brave is when he's afraid."

This implies that all a man needs to do to overcome the stigma of #MeToo is be brave. That is not correct.

What is correct is the following,

For men, flirting is now a huge liability.

In a workplace, as long as you strictly avoid flirting (and follow the Pence rule), you protect yourself most effectively from unfounded accusations of sexual harassment.

The more successful the man, the more he risks by flirting. After a certain point, it's just an unwise risk. After all, why risk tanking your whole career simply in order to gauge your sexual compatibility with some woman?

It's not fear, it's self preservation. There's a difference.

It's not JUST self-preservation, it's also a lesson. Whether feminism specifically and women in general will 'get' this lesson, will depend upon whether solitude teaches them wisdom, or whether they just continue the blame game. I'm not holding out much hope. There's going to be a LOT of really bitter, angry, semi-sane old women in senior's lodges in about 40 years.

It depends on the type of women, If I knew that they weren't deranged anti-trumpers ( They really are guys, stay away from them ) or hardcore feminists or anti-capitalists, you know the type. Then I'd love to even just hang out with them generally nevermind flirt because it's great talking to sane girls and if there's one of them then they may inevitably know more and have a circle of friends that will be sane unless they're on their own and stuck if a left wing shit hole like a lot of other people.

The problem is though unless they're really fucking obvious and they're at an anti-trump protest or something or they look the stereotype it's really hard to tell whether they'll just say hi back or just not be bothered about interacting with you or they'll immediately start screeching at you the moment you say something that they disagree with.

I tried watching that video but I pretty much stopped the moment the idiot referenced 'easy access to pornography' as an issue. Someone correct me if I'm wrong I guess I'm not feeling patient enough to watch bullshit like that because I've seen it all before, it's all about blaming men rather than actually finding out why things are so bad.

If I do flirt with girls, it will probably be with ones outside the UK as I'm planning on travelling quite a bit so I'll be going to countries that hopefully have a smaller percentage of crazies in them. The reason being is I'm convinced that British girls in particular have a severe case of trump derangement syndrome and it would just be too ridiculous sifting through the crazies to find that one sane girl who wouldn't necessarily say yes anyway so I'm staying focused on my career more than anything.

By the way, a classic example of what I'm talking about would be awhile back I made a thread on AskReddit and it was about somebody who was asking for creepy behaviour about women. I pointed out feminists and anti-trumpers as an example and low and behold I got hassled about it by the exact sort of people and possibly a girl getting pissy with me over it that were who you'd expect. They didn't like the fact that I was pointing them out specifically but rather than they I'm being ridiculous they just behaved exactly as you'd expect and got hysterical.
