Of course it isn't. After drinking a bunch of alcohol people can still come across as pretty normal, or only a little tipsy, yet have little or no memory of what transpired the next day. There are even cases of people who have bought plane tickets and woken up in other countries after blackouts; no one even knew they were intoxicated. Blackouts can also be compounded by certain types of prescription drugs like anti-depressants.

Unless a woman is a literally unable to stand or is passed out (and, for legal purposes, there are witnesses to this effect) they can consent to sex. YOU (not the nearest man) are responsible for how much you drink.

This is yet another example of feminists acting like gigantic hypocrites: they demand that women be treated like children (when convenient) while placing all of the responsibility on the man. Sorry but you can't have it both ways (or so you'd think; they seem to be doing a pretty good job of exactly that).

I find it really troubling that a lot of young women apparently don't understand what "blackout drunk" means; it DOESN'T mean you're stumbling around or vomiting; it means you've drunk too much in too short a time, causing memory loss. They really should be teaching this stuff in school.

Also, let's assume the woman is shit-faced and it's fairly obvious; what if the man is also shitfaced, and they enthusiastically have sex. Why is HE but not SHE a rapist? Or or they both rapists? The inability of feminists to grasp basic logical concepts like this is just bizarre. It shows that their worldview is centered entirely around feelings.

Edit: and just to drive home the point, there was a study in the UK where they examined a couple hundred cases of women who claimed they had been "roofied." The blood tests revealed that a grand total of ZERO of these women had actually been drugged. They had just drank too much. This is the kind of thing that could be corrected if educators taught women about the effects of alcohol consumption rather than "teaching men not to rape." But that would be "victim blaming", or something.

I dated an alcoholic for about four years.

We made a few videos together where she's quite clearly alert and oriented, having conversations, providing enthusiastic feedback, etc. and of which she's said is bizarrely like jerking off to a video of me having sex with someone who looks exactly like her.

I'm not so sure this really belongs here tbh, I don't agree with this entirely. People do need to have some awareness with extremely drunk people (men and women). I don't think it should be criminalised as much as it is, but let's not grab hold of this in celebration.

Then again I may be biased I have had shit experiences with an entitled lady in this scenario (where I was very obviously blacked out drunk. Not that I blamed her or reported anything though I know it was my fault)

"blackout" is not a medical term. Unconscious would be the term he's probably looking for.

I've had this discussion thousands of times with many, MANY different people and there are two things that are constant;

The SJW/feminist side tries to stack the deck [Muh ignored blackout in a high traffic area] on top of arguing that women are too stupid to understand the concept of "alcohol" or "drugs".

Second, always enforce a double standard in which men, regardless of whether they are equally intoxcated or worse, are still held up to a ridiculous , borderline impossible standard.

It boils down to: No one gets drunk by accident. The alcohol/drugs didn't magically teleport into someone's body, they willingly got drunk/high and then make bad decisions, that's not on anyone but them.
