Annie James was outraged after spotting a sign outside Morrisons in Fort William, Scotland, which read: 'Caution. Men Working.'

Hoping to publicly call the company out, she shared the photo to their Facebookpage with the caption: 'Obviously only men are allowed to work on this construction site at your Morrisons petrol station in Fort William. #everydaysexism.'

Everyday sexism is a project to document acts of sexism, whether they are minor or serious, to demonstrate that the problem does exist.

Unfortunately for Ms James, other users on the Facebook page disagreed with her and accused her of overreacting.

That poor woman, how will she cope?

The article mentions that Madonna once made a similar post and remarked that she had never seen a 'Women Working' sign.

And ya know, late at night on many streets I have in fact seen women working, perhaps there should be signs.

A warning or caution sign is best when it’s as brief and as quickly identifiable as possible.

‘Men at work’ is quick and brief and entirely expected.

The sign is meant to save idiots from getting injured not inspire future generations of women to become construction workers.
