The concept of objectification is beneath contempt. It's sexualization not objectification, and women do it too (though that's not treated as a crime). If anything counts more as objectification it's the tendency of women to see men's wealth as an indication of a man's worth as a human being.

i think that this metoo situation is getting out of hand, honestly the fear mongering among the normal people is horrific. Nowadays most men dont even want to be anywhere near women because of fear of being labelled and the court and law are always on the female side regardless, false accusations are becoming more common but the repercussions of false accustations are being silenced and it makes me upset, that we once used to get on together and now the world has changed so much that men and boys are not allowed to show themselves or interest in females and those that do are shamed into hiding

I fail to see the correlation between the dresses and sexualization? Sexualization is a broader issue than just dressing in sexy attire. Also, isn’t this a men’s rights page? Instead of speaking about stuff like this, shouldn’t you talk about male suicide rates, female privilege in court, child custody, etc?

This is in poor taste and in the wrong community.

i think that the #metoo has been hijacked, now its being used as a shaming tactic by women against men in general, as such men are now thinking 'is there any point me even talking to women whatsoever' and so they dont think that there is any point because one minute they may have a innocent conversation the next their entire life is ruined all because some woman weird and strange view on men, men are the ones who are being targetted and are not allowed to speak up about it, instead they are branded misogynistic and shamed by harpies into silence

No, you have enough ability as a person that if you really wanted to encourage women to no longer wear sexual clothing, you could by setting an example yourself. Just like any other trend in fashion.

"These clothes shouldn't be considered 'sexual', they're just a fashion choice! It's men who are sexualizing these clothes for no reason at all!"

If your bare back isn't sexual, why did women make such a big deal about this?

I mean, would it have been just as significant if he had touched her bare arm?

I don't see how this is related to #metoo. #metoo is pretty bad, but what does women wearing revealing clothes have to do with the problem with false accusations?

Also it's their choice to dress like this.

It's like if I decide to have one off the wrist, that's my choice.

But if some random person told me to do it, I'd be uncomfortable
