I posted yesterday and you all said you wanted updates, so here's my final (or maybe not?) update.

I had to switch out of my women's studies class because I got into another class I really needed to get into. It was a pretty fun class and I liked throwing my arguments out there, regardless of whether anybody agreed or not. I'm on the waitlist for the same class in the time slot after it. I'd like to get in, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to.

I think my professor is a good teacher even though our ideologies are completely separate and we'd be highly unlikely to change them. I don't think every single women's studies teacher is as malicious as MRAs and other anti-feminists make them out to be even though most of what they teach is bullshit. I told her that I really want to be in the class and she said "I'm glad you're having a good time. I'll see what I can do." And not "if you're not here to learn, join another class." I knew I wouldn't be making friends with the other students, but some of them said I have some serious balls. Mainly I'm concerned about winning the respect of my teacher and having someone I can rely on to give good recommendations. Every teacher who I challenge ends up really liking me so I know I'd win in that regard.

I was about to think more positively about the laypeople who support feminism. That they're well-intentioned people who are useful idiots for something they know nothing about. But someone in my class posted on the university's "overheard" page. She quoted me and proceeded to make fun of me, calling everything I had to say as "fake news" and make me look like an asshole. She could have tried to rebut what I had to say, but she was silent the entire class. She had the decency to leave out my name, so my wider reputation is ok.

Feminists really are a bunch of cunts*

*Or at least she is
