I am one of a team of four comprising two women and two men. We are all paid the same.

Along with the nicer part of our job, which is mainly desk based, we also do a small amount of physical work, moving full pallets around and the like, taking (heavy) bins out, stacking empty boxes on pallets etc.

Except, it's only the two men who do the dirty/physical work. It isn't that the women aren't capable, they just don't do it. It's expected that we should do it.

This is a company that prides itself on equality. If it was women getting a raw deal, it would be fixed immediately. But because it's men, it's not that they don't care, it's that nobody even notices. It's invisible.
