These simplistic infographics don't show more information then they display. College acceptance rates for genders, graduation rates for genders across various degree paths. It also doesn't show that men are being actively discouraged from becoming things like teachers and nurses as well. Then the unique issue facing men as teachers which is you have a much greater chance of being accused of all forms of sexual misconduct and as such your entire career can and most likely end because of one false accusation.

Largest share of female graduates but the largest gender wage gap ... hmmm. Maybe it has something to do with the other detail of the fields where females dominate such as education and health and welfare.

Also, why doesn't this quantify those who have a non-traditional gender?

Unsurprising. All of my guy friends except 1 have all dropped out of college, myself included. Most of my lady friends are or have completed a degree. Now I live in a blue collar area, but have (or had, hard to say it keeps sinking into oblivion) a decent CC and are only a short way from several major universities. So it's not like bum fuck away from anything.

My point? Two of those friends have started a business. I'm starting one, with my friend who graduated, and he's finishing a novel to boot. It's hard to tolerate the crap in education when it's being slowed by a poisonous attitude.

Can we all take notice of the fact that other than Sweden, the disparities are much higher in the more conservative eastern european countries, and much lower in the west?
