It's just a bunch of "new speak." You have to rewrite language if you want to get a population to buy into an egregious lie.

Personally I think toxic behaviour is currently RIFE in our culture, and it can certainly come from both sexes, but I really don't like that masculinity has basically become a target.

"Toxic masculinity" is such a broad and vague conception that it can be easily used on the internet to blame ALL men for all of our problems when that's clearly not true as they're often the victims of the way things are between the sexes. It's easy for some people to say, "Well, it's the patriarchy's fault!" but once again, we are just blaming men.

Even terms like "internalized misogyny" (a benal argument often used against women like me that oppose modern feminism) are still ways to blame men for our problems.

And apparently, there can't really be "toxic feminimity" because it is still a result of patriarchy, so it's not even fair to begin with!

There is nothing wrong with being masculine. I think it is wrong to put it beside the word "toxic" because it perpetuates the idea that men are solely responsible for the blame of what women go through and what they themselves go through.

If you want to call it anything, just call it toxic behaviour. For sure we have some negative views about our gender roles and this can come out in very negative ways and I think it's good to address that. But don't group masculinity in with toxicity.

Feminists love to blame men for everything they dislike in the world and to smear men with claims of inherent, negative traits - hence their choice of language including "toxic masculinity".

They even chose to name feminism's equivalent of "the devil" after men: patriarchy.

It's no wonder that girls and young women who get sucked into the religious cult of feminism are mentally screwed up by it. Faux victimhood is an addictive drug and deep, obsessive hatred warps your world view and destroys your relationships.

If you actually manage to get someone to attempt a good faith explanation of "toxic masculinity", it supposedly only refers to a specific subset of gender roles performed by men, isn't meant to imply that masculinity as a whole, in general, is inherently toxic, and shouldn't be taken intending to offend.

At this point, it's usually illustrative to opine that they're being "cuntfusing" and, when the inevitably take offense, innocently protest that it only refers to a specific subset of rhetorical sophistry and isn't meant to offend.

From the same feminists who rage against male leadership or male ingenuity, then had Larry Summers fired for suggesting that while men and women are equally intelligent, men might have a greater variance. Praising women and criticism men is progressive, but vice versa is sexism. They protect this hypocrisy with shaming language like not all men.

This is nothing short of misandry disguised in terminology.
