Is there something wrong with overt statements of sexual desire? Shouldnt males make their intentions known to seek explicit consent? Wouldnt that make feminists happy?

By the most basic definition, any guys that go to nightclubs looking to get laid are sexual predators, because they're going there with intent to hook up with women who've probably had at least 1 drink, and that's all that is required for a person to 'loosen up' and do something they might not otherwise consider doing.

Then again, people will act drunk and 'loose' when told they're drinking alcohol in a controlled study, even if they're being fed non-alcoholic drinks, and behave in the same kinds of ways. Is it the alcohol or the believed effects which cause people to act that way?

All in all, practically every guy who goes to nightclubs or bars looking for a one night stand is guilty of sexual predation, by the most basic standard.

A sexual predator is a person seen as obtaining or trying to obtain sexual contact with another person in a metaphorically "predatory" or abusive manner. Analogous to how a predator hunts down its prey, so the sexual predator is thought to "hunt" for his or her sex partners.

If we define 'abuse' as hurt feelings the day after, such as a woman regretting the one night stand after having had 1 or 2 drinks, that male who dicked her is the quintessential sex predator.

If you go out to 'hunt for poon' at bars or nightclubs, you're a sex predator.

This is the logical end of loosening that definition to mean all purely sexual intent.

For example, many U.S. states make legal distinctions between these categories, defining a "sexual offender" as a person who has committed a sexual offense. The term "sexual predator" is often used to refer to a person who habitually seeks out sexual situations that are deemed exploitative.

Since we all should be aware, by now, that females are considered to be the 'losers' of one-night stands, 'regret sex', and other sexual issues outside short or long term relationships or marriage, as has been status quo for sexuality between heteros for the last 150 years, it is clear that males seeking sex at the expense of a woman's self-esteem or feelings is a sex predator, even if she wanted sex herself and then regrets it the morning after.

This is compounded in situations where' intoxicants' come into play. If you've been to a house party with booze while as a teen and hooked up with a co-ed, if you're been in college and done similar, if you've done this as an adult in bars, and you're a male, congrats, you're a sex predator.

All those situations are considered 'exploitative' in a culture where it is considered the female is 'made worse off' for the event whereas the male 'gains', particularly due to the venues.

Normal partying life is filled with sexual predators, basically.

Situation matters for one, so if you say that out of the blue without any previous interaction that is entirely different to 'expanding on sexual tension'.

Secondly it specifically stated pin. Pining someone is immobilizing them. You don't pull shit like that unless explicit consent is given the same way you don't tie someone to a heater in your basement unless explicit consent is given. Some people might get off on it but that is a direct threat to self-determination. That's why you ask, get explicit consent and have a 'safe word'.

Especially given the out of context nature it is definitely a concerning statement.

That's before you even get into the whole fucking in public being illegal in most places.

Standing in line behind someone you've had no previous interaction with and then blurting sexual stuff at them is a little different to having spent an minutes eye-fucking each other which led to an evening partying, dancing and getting very physically intimate with one another.

Just because some feminist might falsely use the notion of context doesn't actually negate it. Context is absolutely essential in human interaction. Fuck you man, I'ma kill you is rather different coming from a friend who you sniped playing video games or a low tier street thug. You generally cannot say much if anything about people's interactions if you don't have any context. Even a fight that ends in stitches could be entirely part of their fun; sometimes sparring goes wrong.

Suppose you have two people. One doesn't really 'get jokes' and is extremely sensitive to 'conflict based language'. The other is highly jocular and understands this nuanced behavior.

The former isn't going to care about language and is going to feel defensive, thinking that the other person is being cruel to them, the latter 'gets the joke'.

Context is a slim part of the equation.

For instance, there's a woman whos around 45 who keeps talking to guys passing buy at a certain bar, and she goes "hey, is that dick for me"? She's basically sexually harassing random males, but no one takes it seriously.

Maybe its because the context (she's a woman) makes the difference. But she can do it.

What you're suggesting is that males can't and shouldn't do it because of gender differences.

You generally cannot say much if anything about people's interactions if you don't have any context.

I'm surprised your logic doesn't extend to two perfect strangers where one suggests having sex with the other out of the blue. If there's no previous context such as your "eye fucking", then how can the person receiving the message say much of anything about it?

There are no perfect strangers. That's a purely theoretical notion so concerning yourself with it in the real world is pointless.

If we go with the hypothetical then it would rely 100% on the words that are being said and the body language being displayed. Generally you don't lead with 'I'm going to fuck you' that might get you into trouble. You lead with something more neutral.

Under the law there are strict definitions that usually need to be met. If these are met then it might be one thing if they aren't then it might not.

Asking flat out to fuck someone is sexual predator behavior in your original statement, and others view it as any sexual activity that is deemed exploitative, as when guys go to bars to find girls to fuck there.

You're using as broad a meaning for sexual predator as the bar example.

If you don't mean this, then limit yourself to saying that sexual predators are people who commit sex crimes, and intend to, e.g. against someone's body and will.

If you mean anyone asking for sex from a stranger is a sex predator, even if they intend or commit no crime, then you're suggestion is in line with the concept of males seeking sex in bars as 'predatory', given that they are going solely for the intent to have sex, in an arena which can be seen as exploitative.
