I am honestly considering a law degree to exclusively work on these kinds of cases. I would love it if someone started tracking all these down and suing. A guy did it for ADA where he went from business to business, apartments, city/county properties found their violations, sued, won, repeat. Guys like this changed the entire country on ADA compliance.

In the US, landlords are not allowed to discriminate by gender. Employers are not either. If you are told you are not qualified as because you are male, report them to the respective labor or housing department. Sadly there are many ways around this.

I would suggest getting as far away as you can from whatever town you are in now.

I don't know what the family situation but being a bartender for a cruise ship can be awesome work. Also since there is no where to go and piss away tips you end up saving most of what you earn. Its not ideal though if you cant just pick up and leave for 6 months at a time. I would also try saying "Welp seems like there is only jobs for womyn, guess I identify as one since i want to work."

Finding work as a male bartender is nigh impossible.

Even worse is when you work as a bouncer. I worked at a local nightclub with a crew of 8 guys, while all but one bartender (the manager and owner's friend) was female. There were only four bartenders, but the whole 8 man bouncing crew had to split only TEN PERCENT of all the night's tips between us all, despite showing up earlier, staying later, doing far more work, and doing far harder work. It wasn't even real bartending work where they had to know how to mix drinks and shit, literally all they did was open beers or mix cheap liquor with cheaper soda.

I'm having the same problem with serving jobs, I have 9 years of restaurant experience 4 of those years being a server, but they always end up hiring a good looking girl with no experience

I think they must have gotten bad while you were working and not looking. Have you thought about trying seasonal resorts? Some could solve both your issues.

Within the past 20 years, I think. Sometime in the late 90s I noticed a rise in 'women only' events and positions. It seemed to be the fringe at the time, but it's snowballed and become a mainstream issue.

Women are taught to discriminate, and feminism teaches them.
