Judge limits a woman's access to her kids to supervised visits after she made false child abuse claims against her ex-husband to try & have him improperly arrested for the 7th time. So naturally, she files to have child support payments increased to $3000 per month (on top of $7000 in alimony).

Can I get my electric razor paid-for too? I want one of those Braun wet & dry cordless shavers I can use in the shower! Surely, my employers don't want me looking like an antediluvian cave-dweller while I cudgel tapirs to death with a femur-mace at the watering hole?

Also, what about my right to menstruate? Why am I denied that liberty by the arbitrary social construct of 'biology'? Equal rights! Equal rights! I wanna bleed-out my ass and kvetch like a martyr!

But women need razors too because the patriarchy forces them to shave their legs and armpits!

I wonder if men could actually get free toilet paper out if this since they tend to have hairier asses, hence consume more TP.

Women use far more toilet paper than men because men generally use none or very little when they urinate whereas women use quite a bit.

Shouldn't all male employees get free tampons too then, under Title 9?

I'm an engineer, I would figure out a use for them.

[–]RunawayGrain 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Use them as the wicks for some molotovs.

It hard to believe that feminists are asking for this. It is so petty that it is embarrassing.

[+]Doubt_Cloudy points 9 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

What's wrong with asking for this? I feel like improving quality of life for women who need tampons at work easily outweighs the cons. Am I missing something here?

Cons: male employees excluded, increases business cost but not much amirite

[–]feedmecarrots 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We have made enough concessions to women. They already are the superior sex.

[–]SaiHottari 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Do you wonder why the number of women who identify as feminist hovers as low as 17% (8% in the UK)?

Most complaints and demands by feminists are ridiculously petty. Worse, even if we concede, they'll not be satisfied. They'll just make more demands.

I've met people who's businesses are paralyzed at 49 employees because they don't make enough revenue to pay for Obamacare, which takes effect at 50 (IIRC). Do we really want to stack more roadblocks on growing businesses? This isn't how we encourage entrepreneurship and market competition.

[–]Sedrin98 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Given how rough the toilet paper is at any job a I've had, I'm not sure why women are fighting for this.

If this was part of something that provided entire wardrobes I guess I might be okay with it but only sponsoring one piece of clothing for one gender seems wrong.

If they do this then they should have to buy guys free briefs.

[–]gprime 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Tampons aren't clothing, they're hygiene products. This would be more akin to demanding that employers provide toothbrushes and toothpaste at the office.

[–]CurtisAxelmania 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Underwear serves a role as a hygiene product too. Both briefs and tampons stop leaks from staining pants.
