This subreddit is a safe space for Socialist discussion. Defending capitalism or capitalists is a bannable offense. Debating Socialism is also not allowed.

This is beautifully ironic because BLM is focused on police violence, prison system discrimination, etc, which are all areas where not only are men worse off than women, but the gender gap UTTERLY FUCKING DWARFS the race gap. As in, blacks are about 3x more likely to be killed by police than whites, but the gender gap is so much bigger than white men are still EIGHT TIMES more likely to be killed by police than black women.

Most of these "leftist" or "socialist" or even "anarchist" subs are run by spoiled middle or upper class white kids.

The modern day "left" looks nothing like it did a hundred years ago. Back then it was made up overwhelmingly of working class men and women.

Tellingly they were often hostile to feminists. The socialist Earnest Bax wrote the first major critique of feminism, "The Fraud of Feminism" (the Catholic G.K. Chesterton, who was not a socialist by most measures but advocated property redistribution to the poor, wrote the second, "What's wrong with the world"); Rosa Luxembourg called the suffragettes "parasites of parasites"; Emma Goldman (though a feminist of sorts) dismissed them as female supremacists; Mother Jones spent most of her time fighting for the rights of (overwhelmingly male) workers and thought it absurd that women would be "liberated" by toil since women mostly worked in textile mills; and IWW leader Elizabeth Gurley Flynn stated that "society moves in grooves of class, not sex."

Today the same pattern of lower class hostility toward feminism remains. Lower class women, who disproportionately desire to be housewives according to a British poll, understand damn well that their husbands aren't trying to "oppress" them by working all day in brutal jobs. Feminism is a rich woman's movement that mostly harms the working class. That's why it's supported by the oligarchy.

We should upvote this post to R/all in the hopes that we can debate some of these people if they're so hellbent on censorship.

I know it says don't post things about other moderators, but hopefully we can have a discussion on why men are killing themselves in higher numbers than women. If men don't have issues worth fighting for and feminism can take care of it(shouldn't it of already since they are pushing so hard all the time?), than why are our men killing themselves at 3 times the rate?!

Of course you got banned. The sub specifically says it's not for debating socialism or defending capitalism and therefore it's probably not a sub that cares about any kind of truth.
