Whatever your opinion is on immigration, if you're going to release people from detention, it shouldn't be in a discriminatory manner. The guys stuck in these detention centers should sue ICE for violating their equal protection rights.

It's pretty usual that male immigrants get treated really poorly whereas female immigrants tend to have it a little better. Not to mention that most male immigrants take the dangerous trip so they could have the women and children in their families follow them safely through official channels.
