State:

You saw the sign and it is gender discrimination.

You want it investigated.

How do you make a formal complaint.

If you ask for a posted reply they really do consider the cost of what they are doing.

They need to think about the cost of running such a discriminatory advert again.

If lots of people complain the cost in postage and admin would be astronomical.

I suspect overseas people can complain if they have seen the advert on the internet.

So glad i dont have kids, not because i dont think i could raise them better than this, but because i cant bear to think of the vitriol they would receive from their peers when they refuse to swallow the propaganda being pushed by basically all of Hollywood, the gov't and the school system.

It's nice to promote against domestic violence on women but even better to be gender neutral or not pretend it doesn't happen to men who also need aid. It's unfortunately there are those who greatly oppose this with prejudice and simply don't wish to treat men like human beings.

How is this sign really hurting anyone? I'm all for ending any kind of discrimination, but this isn't discriminatory. It isn't saying that violence against men doesn't exist or that it doesn't matter; it's just advocating for awareness of violence against women and girls

I see what you're trying to get at, obviously, but to be fair, there is nothing really all that wrong with having a campaign aimed at one problem rather than another, especially when Hackney council has run lots of campaigns against knife crime in gangs - which directly affects men and boys almost exclusively - see here, here, here and here.

i dont think its inherently biased legally speaking since it does not state that violence against men 1) doesn't count or 2)is a good thing.

in the uk the government is allowed to make public service signage for what they consider "community improvement"

i would think mra would love england- the have laws protecting the id of men accused of sexual assault and have virtually a 0% conviction rate for rape prosecutions or sexual assault, it is virtually impossible to be imprisoned for rape in the uk. also they consider intoxication a defense to rape for the man- sounds pretty mra to me.

google the recent issue with project sapphire in London- a billion dollar police task force built to overhaul sex crime investigations and increase the ability of the crown prosecutor to try sex offenders, it failed in spectacular fashion- the police (male and female) didint like the new policing standards and didint engage in them, people didint use the new reporting methods, prosecutors did not use readily availble video evidence of violent stranger rape in prosecutions- the head of the metro police resigned, the mayor of london resigned, and one of the judges of their supreme court resigned.

sex crimes are virtually impossible to investigate or prosecute in uk
