I subscribe to both the Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton subs because I want to be an informed voter and seeing the types of things their supporters post helps me to stay informed. Subscribing to a sub doesn't mean you agree with all, most or even any of the posts at that sub.

i dont personally care what title you go by or what group you follow, what i care about is what you argue for. if you argue for changes to rape laws that discriminate against men, i wont like you, if you argue against changes to the family courts that would make it more equal, i wont like you, if you argue to make it legal for men to rape women (extreme i know) or to remove women's right to vote, then i wont like you, but if you seek and advocate for actual equality, then call yourself feminist, work in /r/feminism, do whatever i dont care, because your advocacy is what matters and if you advocate equality then what does anything else matter?

I do have an issue with "feminism" as a whole but that lies in its group actions as a whole, predominantly i hold the view that just because 90% of a group says they think one thing, if they let the other 10% of the group (radicals) make change that goes against the "spirit" of the majority, then they as a group are at fault for giving that 10% the platform and not removing it from them and i will judge them by the change their group (as a whole) is causing, but i have no issue with the individuals. take the MRA as an example, we downvote radicals, we argue with them, we as a group refuse to give them a platform to speak on our behalf (most people we support, and are big in our community support the things we agree with as opposed to being radical)... feminism doesnt, it just lets them but thats a personal view. i cant speak for others but i believe many others share the views i have, whether or not they are a majority i dont know.

I tried to be a feminist but they wouldn't let me. They never even gave me explanations. I was removed from six online groups and one IRL group. Even the IRL group gave me no explanation. Because of this, I believe feminists don't want fairness or free speech. They want war. And I am their enemy.

"Is it OK?" - Are you asking my/our permission? I would counter that question with; why do you feel like you need people's permission to subscribe to subReddits?

You can subscribe to /r/SmearingPeanutButterOnMyselfAndRunningThroughTheWoods if you want, few would notice, and even fewer would care, so long as you post your thoughts on different topics in the applicable sub.

I started frequenting this sub because I felt that it was a place to discuss gender in which having an opposing view to the majority wouldn't exclude someone. Based on the other responses I'd say that's about right. So believe whatever you want, just be prepared to justify and defend your views.

haha you can definitely sub to both. there is nothing in believing in men's rights that means you can't believe in women's rights either. To be honest what we both are against is injustice

My experience is that anyone claiming to be a feminist is not out for equal rights, so that puts us at odds immediately.
