The victim came forward about the sexual encounters when he was 17 years old, after hearing a church sermon on child molestation.

Usually I'm glad when the boy comes forward to report what happened to him. But the results in this case kind of show why so many boys don't bother in the first place

At least she'll be on the register for life. Besides that, I can only hope this man is able to find the emotional support outside of the courtroom

the jail simply doesn't have the medications she needs.

In other words, this child rapist's health is more important than the victim getting justice or the safety of other children she may come into contact with

So another rapist getting off easily because the courts are more concerned about their well-being than the victims'. I wonder if there's going to be media outrage over this woman raping a child and getting 6 months house arrest as Brock Turner raping a woman and getting 6 months in jail?

Yeah, totes, no male rapist ever had health problems, right? They are all just healthy, mentally stable, happy men, who decide to rape someone just for the giggles of it, amirite? And giving her some kind of special privilege to have regular check ups in prison would have been just too much to ask I guess. Oh well, nothing we can do about it now. The matriarchy has spoken!

so what the judicial system is saying is boy are worth little if anything. and i am willing to bet this is a black child so he in the eyes of the law is worth less. in fact they most likely think he was asking for it as all black males are rapist.
