Australia's richest person (I'm Aussie), is female. However, in the four years she's been the richest person, she's lost more than half her net worth, a massive 12 billion USD.

Same is true in Germany. Richest and most powerful individuals in Germany, all female.

From the top:

Friede Springer and Liz Mohn both control (after the death of their respective husbands) each about half of Germany's print media. They are even more powerful (and use that power!) than chancellor Angela Merkel which comes in as (only) the third most powerful person in Germany.

Following them are lots of rich industrialist women who all got their fortune from surviving their husbands.

If the person who wrote this "warning" acknowledges that women can be as prejudiced, perhaps I should start advocating in stopping "harmful prejudices towards men", because then I won't have to get roadblocked arguing the re-definition of words according to SJWs. Feminists don't use the word "prejudice" a lot, nor have they redefined that word for their own mental gymnastics.

I would love to switch my vocabulary to see if it has any effect, but I've been banned from /r/askfeminists at least 8 times over the last year. I never broke any rules.

At least they are right. These things are not reverse-anything.

On the other hand, I do not think we are looking at mental gymnastics. This is outright intellectual dishonesty.

Tomato tomato

One is intentional, one is moronic. Not sure which is worse though.

[–]LilyBentley 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I'd say intentional is way worse. At least the morons were genuine.

[–]coke501 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The morons provide and secure the echo-chamber. They are the muscle to the intellectual dishonesty. Without them, the dishonesty would be irrelevant, wouldn't it?

The majority of the electorate, the majority of spending power, the majority of tax spend, the majority of power in the family home, etc etc etc.

Plus, chivalry. Men in power don't act in the interests of other men. Likewise women in power. See Thatcher. They generally act in the interests of other rich people.

What will they say if Hillary is elected President?

[–]stop_stalking_me 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They're right. There is no such thing as "reverse sexism". But not for the bullshit reason they stated.

yahoo's CEO for financial and Clinton for political. Those are the two that come straight to mind. Never mind all the extra ministers and council members in many countries. Plus if Im not mistake one of the latin american countries has a female leader that is incredibly wealthy and beautiful.

In free markets women have a lot more economic power because they consume many times more, and economy is about individual consumption. Producers exist to serve consumers, even those who are not directly involved in consumer goods. Also, women own more than men.

Women have a lot more political power as women because male politicians almost never see men as a group they should represent. Female politicians, on the other hand, almost always see women as at least on of the groups they should represent. Also, women voters are in majority.

I don't know what on earth is even meant by "women don't have institutional power", the idea is too retarded. But let's assume that people are supposed to lead their everyday lives within institutions where women don't have any power. So, for example, women don't have power in families (which for most of us is the most important institution). Let me laugh, only in feminist fantasies.

It's truly Marxist--create a language and use it until people start believing it.

"Some pigs are more equal than others..."

TIL Janet Yellen is fictional.

"STOP!"

Yeah, how dare students think for themselves!!!

Well they're right about one thing. There is no such thing as reverse racism or reverse sexism. It's all just racism or sexism, and men and women of all races can be guilty of it.
