You may not have realized it, but there’s a War on Women in America these days. Pay no mind that no one quite seems capable of articulating how our society is unfair to women. They keep dredging up the mythical wage gap, but that’s about it. And something about there not being enough free condoms. Otherwise, women live longer, work the safest jobs, and get drastically shorter prison sentences for committing the same crimes as men. And forget that they enjoy the sumptuous luxury of enjoying automatic and nearly universal public and legal sympathy in just about any dispute with men.

I agree. I don't like Trump, but he's better for my interests than Clinton would be. That shouldn't be true. I'm pretty down on my luck right now. But it is, what it is. Trump opposes free trade, Trump opposes a government that, in New York at least, feels one step below a police state. Trump doesn't hate men, and I'm pretty sure that HRC does.

I don't believe Trump would be hostile toward women at all... not pandering to them does not equate to hostility. I don't like Trump because I don't trust his (corporate)motivations, not because I feel he is sexist.

clinton on the other hand is just hostile in general, but even more so toward men! I always like to remember the video where she was in a foreign country representing the US and someone asked a question which she mistook as them asking her to tell them her husband's thoughts on the issue being discussed. she was snotty and rude in her reply which was something like "if you want to know what my husband thinks then go ask him!". that is how she acts toward other women while representing the US in a foreign country... I can only imagine what we are in for if she gets elected!

I hate both Trump and Clinton and will vote for neither in this upcoming election. I'm sympathetic to movements for both men and women, though most of my efforts go to men because it's "my fight."

But this title is a bit too far. I completely disagree.

I think a Clinton administration would do things that are bad for men, less because of anything she may or may not think (I know about the quote about women in war but I don't read too much into it tbh), and more because of the general party structure that will take over/remain in place if she wins. To take current Title IX shit, it's all the government's doing, but I imagine Obama doesn't really care much about it. It's all the lower appointees who come into power when their side wins.

But other than that, I think Hillary will be fine, gender's not the only issue, and I think Trump will be a total disaster and there's no way in hell I'll vote for him. If Hillary wins, every radical feminist with some blog writing about "power structures" or whatever will have some direct line into federal government policy. But they're better than conspiracy-mongering white nationalists and Vladimir Putin.
