The hypocrisy in the article is astounding. Note how "believe the victim" is nowhere to be seen, and instead "allegedly" is sprinkled everywhere.

I don't believe its rape in either case whether the so called victim is a man or a woman. Its up to them to say no and leave.

"giving in" because you don't mind should make it clear that its not rape. I've done that before, and don't consider myself raped.

having sex while drunk is also pretty hilarious, because many consenting adults who are married or engaged have gotten drunk and had sex. Is that date rape? If its rape because they're both drunk, even though neither of them feel like a victim the next day, and neither of them report it to the police, then BOTH of them are rapists who are being rewarded for their raping behavior instead of punished, meaning that if they break up and move on to the next guy or girl, they will practice their rape with that person under similar circumstances of drinking and then fucking.

He wasn't unconscious or unable to stand and leave. He isn't a victim of rape. Neither would a woman be in this scenario.

Whats good for the goose is good for the gander, though.

I think we need to be clear that we want the law and social values applied equally to women as they are to men. If this is rape, a woman under similar circumstances is a victim, too. If this isn't rape, then neither would it be for a woman under similar circumstances.

You know, I have been GIVEN free beers at a bar along with a lonely girl that just broke up with her boyfriend, by HER friends. They didn't know me, but they were perfectly willing to give us both alcohol when they knew she'd probably put out later that night, and told us both to have fun. At a bar. A girl at that same bar who hooked up with a friend of mine met me again recently and was trying to figure out how she knew me, and went through all the guys she fucked while drunk on alcohol, even boasting that she got kicked out of a cab for screwing a guy while drunk in the back of it. This same bar, a girl came over from the central to east coast area, visited with her cousin (a girl), and a guy. We started talking, and she started drinking a lot, and she was making passes at me, talking about me taking her home. I looked at the guy and asked him what he though and he said "she's a big girl, she can take care of herself". Is this both men and women in bars being party to, and encouraging, rape culture?

Rape culture requires you to believe that people are victims for the choice they make of their own free will.

The article never really says that title IX is "problematic" or anything similar, it's just giving an uncommon perspective that we very rarely hear about.
