That is the problem, because you can't have it both ways. You can either a) shut up or b) correct the inaccuracies.

People don't do well with being told they're wrong these days, even if they are hugely wrong. You should be prepared to be shouted down and possibly shunned if you speak up. That may sound terrible, but the alternative is to stay quiet and endure a living hell of being surrounded by flat-earthers and anti-vaxxers and wage-gappers. So you have to speak up — and be a dick — no matter how nicely you say it. For your own sanity and the sanity of the world.

You could play messenger. For example you could say "I remember reading somewhere that it's not discrimination" or "I thought that was debunked last time I heard about it".

That way you can inject an opposing viewpoint without it seeming like you're "betraying" them.

It is against the law(several laws, actually) to pay someone less because of their gender. So if a woman can prove this kind of discrimination, why doesn't she take her employer to court?

Just tell them to get a better paying job then ignore them. Nobody is stopping them from earning the same as men. Once an hourly rate of pay replaces wages and tag monitoring in the office or computers if working from home, excess toilet breaks, watercolor breaks and hair appointments will probably cause a females productivity drop by about 15%.. Just because women say they need to help of men to encourage them to succeed, doesn't mean men need to bother. Èncourage all of your children to succeed, but don't fill their heads with unrealistic expectations.
