There are still plenty of issues even for white, attractive women so these comments are off base (e.g. gender wage gap, body stereotypes, et al.) However, the point is that things have gotten a lot better is the last 25 years for white, upper-middle class women and that's where feminism needs to change.

Interesting. I understand the points, though do believe a lot of the examples such as dangerous work, are separate issues that should not be looped into the wage gap discussion.
The big issue for men is that women are the significantly higher group that attend college and attain degrees at a higher level. This is extremely concerning that young men are either not motivated or not financially capable of attaining college degrees.

Not as much as you think. College is becoming more and more useless so it does not bother me too much. What I think is more concerning about college is how they treat the males that go there, but that less males are going makes logical sense.

Wage gap does not exist. Look at any REAL study on the subject. The only real disparity between male and female pay is the jobs that men are willing to take that women aren't coupled with the fields of study that men go for degrees in vs women.
If you compare men and women side by side same experience/education there is no gap in their pay.
Problem is the women who want to get paid CEO salary after they get a fucking degree in Female Studies or w/e bullshit non applicable fake ass degree that tumblr told them is good and then get pissed when they realize that companies want people with actual useful knowledge.

True feminism is about equality, not just for women, but men too. Men's rights is about keeping the balance to that as well. Not letting people forget that if we go to heavy on the side of feminism, we shouldn't forget that men are people also who have rights to father a child, say if they were sexually abused ever and receive the proper help, remind people of the number of homeless men vs women, etc. saying men's right's has been anti-feminism is wrong. we are all fighting for the same thing at the base.
people take things to extremes on both sides of the scale, and while we have to accept that as truth, we can also be adults and keep this a safe subreddit and stop the bashing that has been fairly rampant today.

Feminism has never been about this. Study early suffragettes for example. You can decide you want feminism to be like something, but the reality and history of the movement is another thing. Being anti-feminist is not extreme, is the normal position men's rights advocates have always had.

I don't know, My mother (64), sister (34), female neighbor(82) are all proud feminists. Never once have I ever heard them say anything that the tumblrina sect of "feminists" complain about and shake their fists at. I don't consider online feminism to be true. I believe that its all about equality, feminism and Men's rights. its all a scale and we need to keep each other in check. Being anti-feminists may be what you think you are because you believe in Men's rights, but anti-man bashing is what you actually are. We all are, let's not turn this into the redpill sub fight back. Again, I don't think that this post and others bashing feminism is something that goes along the lines of Men's rights. My opinion. If I'm wrong I guess I need to find a better sub.

So please explain how NOW, the largest feminist organization in the United States, opposed a bill to make shared parenting the default position in a divorce proceeding if feminists are truly after equality?
Explain why Hillary Clinton is proposing more lenient treatment for women in a prison system where women, when controlled for criminal history, are already receiving vastly shorter sentences and are nearly twice as likely to avoid being sentenced to incarceration as men for the same crimes? Why do we see such concern coming from feminists for the plight of women in a system where not only men are treated far more harshly, but represent ten times the population in that system?
This isn't happening on tumblr, and you can't claim it's fringe when the largest feminist organization and one of the world's most powerful women, poised to arguably be the world's most powerful person, are doing these things. And this is far from an all-inclusive list of indicators that feminism isn't doing anything to help the problems faced by men, something I doubt anyone here would even care about if they'd simply stop acting against the MRM, then having the nerve to say "we're on the same side" while the ink is still wet. Just two very recent examples of why you're going to see a lot of anti-feminist sentiment here.

Haha, no. I think my implied point was that feminism tells women that they need to be a particular way, and that without feminism women cannot succeed. My wife, who is successful (doctorate) managed to do so without being involved with the feminist cause at all, and thinks that a lot of the stuff in modern feminism is stupid. In other words, a accomplished women telling other women to shut up about how "hard" it is.
