Stated reason: Female prostitution - even by the ostensibly willing - is a form of patriarchal oppression. Women can't really choose to sell their bodies. Any woman who "chooses" to do so is really just acting out the oppressive roles forced on her by a male-dominated society.

Actual reason: Feminists are just human women. For (obsolete) evolutionary purposes biology tells them to punish/weed out certain types of undesirables by withholding access to sex (reproduction) and to reward desirable males. Prostitution sets up an alternate marketplace where a man's attractiveness and usefulness to women have significantly less impact on his access to sex. Socializing people out of their caveman/woman instincts is never pretty. The conflation of prostitution with rape (like all of their rape conflations) is intellectual dishonesty used to cover the fact that they are a socially conservative movement trying to stave off the inevitable conclusions of an evolved, liberal society for as long as possible.

It's to do with this weird brand of anti-capitalism that Feminists follow believe it or not, because they think that Capitalism is 'exploitation' they believe that men who use prostitutes are exploiting these women by paying them for sex. The reason being in their heads they think that getting paid wages is akin to a form of slavery because every CEO or Capitalist to them is some even cartoon character bent on exploiting the poor for their own benefit.

Ironically, despite many of them claiming to be 'Athiests' they've pretty much adopted the exact same attitude towards prostitution as the Catholic church. As we've seen with that whole legalising prostitution business, to them it doesn't matter if actual prostitutes practically tell them to fuck off, they still think it's their right to go around policing theese women no matter the situation and shaming or outright attacking men who take part in the industry.

Because if you're paying her for sex, she is in a desperate life situation and making bad choices, and you're capitalizing on it for sex. You're using her when she's being degraded, thereby getting your jollies off of someone else's pain.

There has been so much sex and other fun shit I've passed up from high school to college, all because I was worried about the impact and regret they might have later, and before I learned anything of MRA or MGTOW or anything else. I think the same holds true of prostitution, escorts, or stripping. If someone is feeling degraded and ashamed, you are contributing to it. However, the rule of sanity should be that a person cannot be expected to know the mind and inner workings of an individual, so as long as things are being pursued on face value (This person seems okay with having sex for money, or with having a fuck buddy situation, or seems okay with trading sex for housing, which is what housewives used to do anyway), then, unless we can see that they're highly distressed about their life choices, we can't ascribe morally depraved status to clients of strippers, prostitutes, or escorts.

Many women are willing to trade sex to not be homeless. It might possibly be the last buffer for many women right before actually being homeless, which would partially explain why more men are homeless than women.

There are plenty of women out there who, while not consciously aware of prostituting themselves, will hook up with a boyfriend who has a job and a house because they are working the 'move in girlfriend' angle, even if they aren't aware of it. Eventually, they'll move in and be able to save money and build up a job and some savings, but they're doing so while being with a boyfriend, so they're essentially trading sex for housing and rationalizing it by putting it in the framework of "a love relationship rather than blatant prostitution".

Most people are blind to their own subconscious motivations. I think most borderline disordered or histrionic aren't aware of the driving forces that cause them to be assholes who ruin people's lives. Whenever we do something bad, we always rationalize it, even the best of us. Thats why that quote is 'the road to hell is paved with good intentions'.

I used to think it was all bad. In fact, the idea of a guy offering a woman a place to sleep in exchange for sex seemed very clearly evil or immoral. The thing is, she's willing to trade sex for not being homeless. She prefers the idea of putting out to being homeless. If it was really such a horrific thing, wouldn't she prefer being homeless first?

The reason to go after the homeless angle is because, for many people below the middle class, they are a few paychecks away from that reality. Escorts and prostitutes and strippers tend to be women who think its an easy way to make some extra money. I'm sort of surprised at the mentality of women who go into those professions and then hate themselves and their johns for that life choice. Was Staples or Burger King not hiring more shit wage workers? Were you unwilling to be a janitor to clean shit up? The mentality of taking such jobs has to be related to both the perceived ease of the job and the value of the paycheck for it. Don't bet on the latter if you're not physically very attractive enough to demand that higher rate.

The reason for the homeless angle is cutting out the middleman. What difference if you give money to an escort so she buys her own housing and food, or if you have her live with you as the payment? I think this shortcut is actually why feminists fight against prostitution, in all probable odds, in addition to the sexual marketplace value theory, which they subconsciously are fighting to keep alive. But it is this moral angle first.

If you think a person shouldn't have to trade sex for shelter and food, then you should be willing to think they shouldn't have to trade sex for money (which becomes shelter and food). Its really not that far off from offering a homeless woman a place to sleep for sex. Can you say that's wrong? If so, escorts and prostution should also be off the table.

The issue revolves not around the expensive 10/10 escorts that can make a mint and enjoy every minute of it, but the poor and desperate types.

Not all feminists are antisex worker, I'll agree with that, but a large amount of the ones who are pro sex work ARE sex workers themselves, but not all.

And truth of the reason why so many feminists are anti sex worker have nothing to do with anticapitalism, that all relationalizations, no there are several reasons for those that fall into the antisex worker camp.

They are sexually threatened by sex workers, there is a reason why all the focus is on female Sex Workers, with no one giving two shits what a male Sex Workers do.
Some work in spaces that deal with sex workers that have been abused, and it taints there peeception of the industry as a whole. If your only exposurs to the contruction industry was horrible maimed men, and not normal healthy ones, your perception of the contruction industry could easily become distorted.

The thing about the "sex positive" feminists is that they're mostly only pro because of how prohabitiant negatively impacts them, or other women, not because its hurt and ruined countless innocent men, for consentual sex.
