Twice today I heard on the news that women had been kept indoors suffering in isolation during the pandemic, as if men were running around freely and socializing.

Women are now video recording their male partner's cleaning up skills, as a test and critiquing it on Tik Tok. Imagine what would happen if men tested their wives and girlfriends cleaning skill and critiquing it online?

TV news: I heard a Ukrainian soldier yell at the men not to take the water bottles, they are for women only. And then they report about women's day, women complaining they are treated worse than men and want equality. I'm going to lose my mind here.

Is it me or are female predators becoming more common thanks to the lack of punishment?

[–]xynomaster 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Tough to say if it's because of lack of punishment, because of evolving ideals on female sexuality and empowerment, because of the the ability for private communication provided by cell phones, or even if it's something that has been going on forever but is just now starting to come out.

Probably a mix of all of the above.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Could also add in that it's all female teachers now so there are no men to focus on.

[–]Sinsilenc 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When there are no male teachers of course this is the result. You will always have bad eggs. The male teachers that are still there have to constantly watch there backs for false attacks let alone real ones...

[–]MRA-automatron-2kb[S] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Well there always was lack of punishment and lack of acknowledgement that women commit sex crimes and so they were likely as common in the past.

I think it's coming more due to texting giving police some proof. In this case they have video proof vs some printed pictures as in before the digital age.

[–]mochacola 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

It is because news outlets and the public are now just starting to see them as predators. So, in the past these predators are just as common but they are seen simply as women making bad decisions because they were madly in love and need help. They'll still do it even if punishment is harsh. Just as rapists would rape even when they knew what would happen if they get caught.

[–]BOLT-ON 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That's bullshit and you know it! Sure this shit was happening before, but if you are going to tell me that these women get punished harshly you haven't been paying attention to reality

[–]mochacola 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

I didn't say they are being punished harshly. I said, harsher punishment is not going to make them not do it, just like you can give male rapists harder punishment than it is now, and you won't see less of their crimes. Point was: we are simply starting to hear more of them, they had always existed by the same number, it's not that's more and more of them. Female criminals like them had always existed, just rarely reported by the media.

So, for the sake of illustrating my point, let's assume these types of criminals had always been 50:50 split in gender ratio. But we had always been reporting, and or convicting at a rate of 01:50, and now, 05:50. It's not because it used to be 01:50 but due to lack of punishment of one gender, that these crimes grew to 05:50.

I agree that it always was likely 50:50 and that now it's being reported more to police and to the media.

I'm posting another story about a female committing sex crimes against boys to counter the gynocentric trope that women are angelic and only men do sex crimes. And for visitors to see women are equal to men in the bad as well. Equality isn't about picking the best of both worlds like women tend to do.

[+]OnlyRev0lutions -11 points-10 points-9 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I don't think anyone actually believes that "trope" you're claiming to be protesting against.

I don't see how pointing out random crimes that women commit is helping Men's Rights at all.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Why are women like this receiving light sentences, though?

[–]OnlyRev0lutions 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Now that's a better question worth looking into. I just don't see how posting specific cases to get outraged about helps Men's Rights.

The Justice system coddles women and punishes men more harshly than what is fair. It all goes back to idiotic ideals about protecting women and the idea that male lives are expendable.

Funny, but isn't this related to:

counter the gynocentric trope that women are angelic and only men do sex crimes.

So if the Justice System believes the gynocentric trope as you say, coddling women, why do think this doesn't belong in Men's Rights? What's your problem against it?

[–]OnlyRev0lutions -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My only problem with it is that I don't see the benefit of posting these one off examples of cases. I feel like they're too limiting in scope and just make the sub look like we're reaching for any justification of our views rather than discussing actual systematic problems.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But there IS a systematic problem.

Two to be specific.

One: Women coddled by the courts and receiving lenient sentences.

Two: Even if the tide is turning, there is still a sizeable, significant portion of the population that believes women are incapable of harming an individual, especially men. Example: Those female teachers rap---no sorry---"Having an affair" with young boys.

Until these two things are fully rectified (and that's going to take people more powerful than advocates like us), then I welcome more stories like the OP posted.

Firstly I can't really se how this affects Men's rights. I understand her victims are Male but she is being investigated against so other than highlighting a horrific crime how does this fit if you say Double Standard of being released on bail I agree with that and that a man likely wouldn't but that's supposition. If her sentencing was less compared to a male of the same level of crimes that'd apply but that's unknown as of now. I dunno this seems like taking an issue with a crime more than something related to men's rights and could peg the place and whining about women more than about helping men.

Secondly

Cureatz ordered McLaren not to have any contact with the four minors or with any male person younger than 18. She must avoid public places where minors may gather

By releasing her on bail they've left the door open for these all to be a possibility. It seems she's being treated as less of a threat as indicated

You really don't understand? We're barraged daily with "rape culture" from the RadFems that's objectively nonsense, yet the public schools are apparently a Hunting Ground for female teachers and there's only the sound of crickets.

The lack of outrage when it's women preying on young boys is the problem.

Thanks - I'm glad someone else understand why I posted this news story.

I'm trying to reverse the propaganda tide and it lets other sexually abused males know that they weren't the only ones.

[–]Arlieth 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This could be a case of giving her enough rope to hang herself with. It's the same strategy that the affluenza judge used.
