I always find it funny when you read an article about the "friend zone" it always about the guy just wanting sex. As if sex is the only thing on a guys mind. What if he actually wanted a relationship, and all the nice things he did were just his awkward advances to show how good of a partner he would be. No, he just wants to get his dick wet.
