Fuck me! A woman can't rape even a boy. So that isn't a boy, he must be pretty mature for his age. It isn't child abuse, it is simply assault. Since he was mentally more mature. So the boy made them do this. He is at fault!

I wonder why the boy wasn't charged for DV for hitting back and breaking his bones in the process. I bet the strokes were caused in reality yelling "Bitch" at them. Sexism!

There is a similar case in England. The women are out on bail.

I don't know if boys with mothers in lesbian relationships are particularly vulnerable to child abuse, but I don't recall offhand a lesbian couple abusing a girl this heinously.

Perhaps these boys are a particularly vulnerable population, and medical and educational professionals need to be aware if they are at heightened risk.

Does anyone have more examples? We might be able to use them to motivate HHS to do a study.

Also, this may be a gender motivated hate crime. We could ask the DOJ to recognize these boys as a vulnerable group. They are protected under current hate crime laws.

while not nearly as severe as this... this is the type of shit that made my father leave my mother... unfortunately that meant leaving me and my sister with our mother... my sister never got tied up though... only me... both of us got beat with a very thick belt with double metal rings for the buckles double tongues... she didn't much care where she hit us as long as we were in pain. This is the biggest reason I am in this sub... child protective services (or whatever they were called way back then... I don't remember now) never did a thing although I know they had been called many times.

I speak the same language as you all in the sense that I do not want to be judged for my sex. However, this article has nothing to do with that. There isn't even a verdict to criticise. So quite frankly, I'm embarrassed to read some of the judgemental, short-sighted comments on here. It doesn't matter that these people are lesbians or that they have a son. Imagine if it were two gay men with a daughter: would you think the same things? Again, there hasn't been a verdict yet.

If they were given an unreasonably short sentence based on their sex, then we'd have something to work with. But this isn't the case at all. If you don't want to be judged for being men, then it's important to remember our own vision of equality and stop judging others at face value because of their sex, regardless if they're men or women. If you don't practice this, you've become your own enemy in your struggle, and nothing good comes of that.
