You can't fight one inequality with another one, it just makes no sense.

Since the alcohol level is determined as a percentage of the blood, women already can't drink as much as men and still drive.

It could of course be possible that the same percentage affects women more than men, but the legal inequality about sexual consent isn't evidence for it. The other way around it would make sense. If women were less tolerant to the same alcohol level, it would make sense that women wouldn't be allowed to drive at the same alcohol level, but it would not make sense to have a different definition of consent for women.

This is a ridiculous argument. The issue isn't that women aren't in control, the issue is that society views sex as something men do to women.

Once you start down this path, BAC is a lousy metric for determining driving competence completely.

Some people are dangerous drivers while stone cold sober. And some are reasonably competent at .10, albeit less competent than they would be while sober.

It its taken as a percentage of alcohol verses blood, size differences are already accounted for.

While it is probably true that the alcohol level in a woman may affect her driving more than a man with the same BAC (and I can't cite evidence for this), there are other factors. Even when sober, men are more dangerous drivers than women driving faster, reducing error margins and generally taking bigger risks.

An effective policy in my view would be taking high risk drivers round the paraplegic wards of local hospitals to meet drivers whose skills weren't as good as they thought. (I met a man once who did this. During the mining boom in Western Australia, youngsters straight out of tech college were walking into jobs paying six figure incomes - this is 8 years ago - and buying high power sports cars. As part of his program, he would take them to a rehabilitation ward, introduce them to seriously injured young men and tell them "last week, he was just like you." My bet is that this was far more effective than any amount of police campaigning.)

Not a good idea, but then I believe this is mostly a rhetorical argument coming from you anyhow. Besides:

I have seen sources describe how women tend to become more intoxicated than men on average, after drinking equivalent amounts of alcohol (in large part due to differences in average body weight).
I have not seen sources describing that women tend to behave more intoxicated than men at the same blood alcohol level.

These two statements, 1 and 2 are completely different, and I suggest that you not conflate the two. Do you have sources that support contention #2, which is the only contention that is relevant to your proposal?

What would be the mechanism for that? I suppose, a person who is male or an alcoholic might have a lesser change in behavior at the same BAC. However, that's not altogether obvious either and at any rate, even if it were true and alcoholism rates were different between the sexes, why would anyone want to implement policies that essentially reward people for developing a higher tolerance to alcohol through alcoholism by treating them more leniently?

I get where you are going with this, but your proposal seems a bit muddled or at least poorly explained.

Alcohol tolerance depends on the sex or body weight, presence of certain enzymes, .. Regular consumption of alcohol increases the bodies "tolerance" towards alcohol.

I knew a PhD who did some research for this topic as his Master thesis.

At this time there is a fixed alcohol blood concentration in my country where a person is no longer considered to be accountable for his actions. This does not take alcohol tolerance into account.

The goal of this theses was to predict the level of alcohol "tolerance" and asses a point where a person is still accountable on a personal scale while intoxicated. He said he got alcohol blood samples where a normal untrained person with that much alcohol would die.

He found some indicators for alcohol tolerance on blood level, but it was far from using this in court. Also he had to use blood as a source as a other sources like a biopsy of the liver could hardly be used in a criminal case.

By rights, yes. There's demonstrable proof that women, with lower body weights, are more affected by a given amount of alcohol. But, it will never happen.

Rereading my own posts: women WILL have a higher blood alcohol level even if they have the same number of drinks.
