Hi guys (and gals), I've been visiting this subreddit for just over a year now and I'd like your opinion on male rape jokes.

We've all seen it happen, very often we see it in movies ,stand ups or in the news. Someone makes a male rape joke, and we see a post appearing here about it and the community seems to be divided about it.

For example, we all saw the news article wishing Jared to get a "foot long" in jail.

Some of us say that it's part of freedom of speech and that we must allow these jokes to be made.

Some of us say that the main reason (or one of the main reasons) that the issue of male victims of rape is not being addressed is because it is widely considered as a joke.

I want to know where you stand. I think it is important that we bring this up, I believe that consistency in our message is going to get more people interested in social issues faced by boys and men.

If you have been victim of rape,your opinion really matters on this particular subject.
