Any liberal and free society should be allowed to buy and sell sex. That's why America calling itself the land of the free is one of the biggest jokes ever. Unfortunately everyone appears to be copying American religious and feminist values by trying to outlaw sex work.

I pray I'm wrong, but I don't see much chance of this getting through - because of religious nutters and mainly because of feminist nutters.

Prostitution has a nice tie in with the yes means yes movement. What better evidence of consent than money changing hands?

My biggest issue with prostitution being illegal is that is creates a market for human trafficking, which is huge where I live. Legalize prostitution and you'll see those black markets dry up just like the black markets for marijuana.

I'm not for prostitution itself but it has to be legalized. Those kids running away from abusive homes being preyed by pimps need legal protection.

I disagree with this, and here's why: In the US, many people believe that if you need money, you are obligated to take any job you can get. As a result, legalizing prostitution would be likely to wind up compelling people to be prostitutes
